In a game where the two teams combine for.......20 Runs, 20 LOB, 11 Hits, 21 K's, 17 Walks, 8 Errors, 5 Hit Batters, and more Wild Pitch/Pass Balls than Chins in a Chinese phonebook, the Pandas hold on for the victory in Park Hills over the Breds. The light drizzle (thru the 1st 3 full innings) and the Temp/strong winds had something to do with the crazy numbers.

 

NewCath plates 2 in the 1st on, BB, 1 hit (Kennedy Bin double), & error. Notre Dame gets 1 back in their half of the 1st on 2 BB's and 2 WP's. Notre Dame gets 4 in the 2nd on ZERO hits, 3 BB's, 2 WP's, & RBI GO6. Breds would get 2 runs in the 3rd on 1 hit, 3 BB's, & 1 HBP.

 

Pandas get 4 more in the 4th on 3 BB's, 2 errors, & 2 hits, one being a 2RBI Miller double. NewCath would pick up 2 in the 5th on 2 singles, BB, RBI HBP, a PB on a K. Pandas get 2 back in the 5th on PB on K, 2 BB, & 2 singles (one an infield single).

 

NewCath would close out the scoring in the 6th with 3 runs on 1 hit, a BB, Sac-Fly, & 3 errors.

I think both pitchers would have fared better under better conditions.

You can't take much from the games this week. Still cold and wet. Just hope everyone comes out injury free in conditions like this week so far.
