I'm not too sure about Compton . I watch them play Nelson County and he got out scored by one of their juniors. It should be Faulkner but Goodin will win because they advertise him so much

I wouldn't put a lot of stock in the top 10 when they have a player ranked that didn't score 30 points all year. It's going to be an exciting year

Watched Nelson County play Henry County tonight. Say watch you want but I witnessed Ryan from Nelson score 35 in a win. It's not Taylor or North Hardin competition but if Ryan plays like that Nelson will be in the top 5 in the Region

Watched Nelson and Breckenridge Co Wednesday night . Breckenridge is long and physical, plays smart is picked to win their Region. Nelson who no one is talking about only lost by 5 winning the last 2 quarters. Cameron Cornish is a slasher and Bradley Watson played around the basket . Max Ryan lead knocking down 6 three pointers finishing with 25. Not sure what Nelson will do but they maybe a team everyone is overlooking

The 5th region is all about Taylor County. North Hardin to me is their only challenge. Bardstown hasn't got anyone over 6'1 and isn't very deep and Central Hardin has lost their shooter. Taylor county wins it

I'm hearing Nelson County may be a sleeper in the 5th Region. They return 4 starters with a year of experience under their belt . Cameron Cornish is a lean high jumper that plays about the rim. I look for him to help carry the load. The one player that hardly gets mentioned is their Junior starting Forward Max Ryan. Ryan can play down low and play the perimeter. He can shoot with any one in the state. Connected on 65 threes as a Sophmore last year. They will challenge Bardstown for the District for sure. If the starters stay healthy look for Nelson County to win several CT

I've checked the list out and very much agree that Taylor and North Hardin are the top 2...as far as Bardstown they don't have anyone over 6'2.. Going to be hard to guard the rim. Hands down Gooden Sloan and Jackson are the top 3 players. One team people are sleeping on is Nelson County. They have 4 starters back and improved . I also found it odd that Cornish nor Ryan was mentioned. Cornish can jump with the best of them and Ryan hit 65 3s last year. Going to be a fun year
