Definitely a great game to watch last night. I found it even with regards to possession. Conner's defense contained Highland's offense well. Both teams had equal amounts of missed scoring opportunities. It goes to show there are some strong dark horses amongst the mix in the 9th Region and Conner may definitely be one of them. Preliminary rankings...are meaningless. Anything can happen with high school soccer.

It was a bad call. How it could be a goal when it hit the crossbar? Highlands just a little rattled that Conner gave them a game. Poorly officiated.

Conner missing 3 starters tonight plus 2 injured 1st half. Would be interesting to see outcome of game if all their starters present. We keep harping on field size, would Conner not be able to host games if their field was not regulation size? I was at the game, not sure Conner's first goal a direct kick was an "own" goal. Hard to tell.
