Coco was 1A player of the yr last year. Now a preferred walk on at WKU. If I'm not mistaken I believe he was first team all state to.

They have been very close to getting over the hump for the past 5 years. Losing many region championships when it was in there crasp in 3a and being somewhat competitive with mayfield the past couple years. Hopefully their line can put them over the hump.

For Russellville I'm not very familiar with their line but coach Myers has been quoted in saying it is the best line since he has been at Rville. 12 long years and they have had some talented teams thoughout his time.

Johnny played this past week against Logan. First touch was in the 2nd Q for a 40 yd td. Him playing is huge for russellville.

Johnny can be a game changer for Russellville. With an already good backfield he could put them over the top. Russellville only has 6 seniors this year so I'm hoping they can step in to mayfield's shoes and be beechwoods rivals the next couple of years.

Russellville also got some big news recently. I read in the bowling green daily news that Jr. Rb/S Johnny drumgole who had 64 rushing attempts for 706 yds and 10 rushing td last yr is set to return as soon as the khsaa rules him eligible. He moved to Atlanta during the offseason. But most important, it's adds another player to their defense which will be the key. They must improve defensively if they want a chance to play on the carpet.
