It’s game day and I might ruffle some feathers here with this prediction but if Sage starts, Boyle wins close. If Bodner is the QB Boyle wins by 2+ scores. Not saying Bodner is a better QB just that the offense has run the ball very well with Bodner under center and the more Boyle can keep the LC offense off the field the colder they’ll be.

I know these games between pretty evenly matched teams flip flop in the playoffs so give me Boyle close.
14 times Boyle and LC met in both the regular season and playoffs. All 14 times the regular season winner has won the playoff matchup. This is the first time that the regular season winner has not played host in the playoff game so hopefully the trend is the home team in the playoffs always wins.

Sorry @Hungover_in_Andover But I’m predicting a running clock. FD wins big.

Trinity names the score. It will be a first half running clock. Great season for Bryan Station but they just aren’t on the level of Trinity.

Exactly!
And any school that has questions should dial up the powers that be at Highlands and ask about the Highlands Broadcasting Network. First and foremost, Highlands is doing right by their students giving the ones that are interested in broadcasting real experience with a professional broadcast. Second, everyone that has an interest in Highlands benefits from it. Finally, it can only help Highlands (or other schools if they do it too) attract talent in the future. I can hear grandma and grandpa on the phone now from Florida with their 8th grade grandchild that is a good football player deciding where to go to high school.
Boyle County does a nice job with the Boyle County Sports Network. It’s students that do all the work and broadcasting. If HHS and BCHS can do it, surely Trinity can make it happen.

In the regular season meeting between these two it seemed like Boyle was going to run away from the Knights leading 27-7 late in the 3rd Quarter but Lex Cath never quit and ended up coming back to win the game 28-27. Boyle scored with seconds left in the game but an illegal motion penalty nullified the TD. Boyle is fresh off of a 43-21 win over Boyd County and Lexington Catholic won 14-0 over Bourbon County. Fun fact, the team that has won the regular season game has never lost the playoff matchup. Can Boyle break that trend and knock off Lex Cath to keep their title hopes alive?
Should be a great playoff atmosphere at Rebel Stadium Friday night!
