I feel Male, St. X, Trinity, and Frederick Douglas should be ahead of Boyle at this moment.
I second this. Boyle is really good but not #1 in the state good.

Because of injuries to Johnson Central, Franklin County will be that team who should be in the 4th spot IMO. Boyle is elite and fast. Corbin has talent and Covington Catholic is right there with both the top 2. I think when Franklin County gets there QB back, they will be a legit contender. Boyle is the top dog and Corbin and Covington Catholic both have there own strengths. The only change to this poll would be to put Franklin County in the 4 spot. They will get there reguardless, they always come to play in November.
Eyes are on the Flyers… as well as Tilghman. Hard to just start jumping teams when teams in front of them haven’t done anything worthy of being jumped.
personally I feel it’s

It’s time for the arguably the best rivalry in Central Kentucky, Danville vs Boyle. Danville enters this game at 1-1 coming off of a 46-7 loss to Pulaski County and Boyle enters at 2-0 fresh off of an exciting 47-38 over LCA. On paper this doesn’t look to be a favorable matchup for the ADS. Danville is rebuilding hoping to get back to the days where they were a title contender year in and year out. Boyle on the other hand just keeps reloading and is on another dynasty type run having won the last 3 consecutive 4A titles. As mismatched as it seems it is still a rivalry game and crazier things have happened. What’s your prediction in this one?
Edit. Danville is 0-2. Had a brain fart.

I seen where someone said that they're surprised that Boyle plays that many players both ways. Not one Boyle player had a stoppage for a cramp the entire game. Boyle's conditioning has always been superb! LCA had quite a few players with cramps tonight in the second half and 3-4 times multiple players at the same time. Big WIN Rebels!
If there’s one thing you aren’t allowed to be when you play for Boyle, it’s tired. You can be hurt or make mistakes but you cannot be tired.

Very impressed with the LCA offense! Very entertaining game to watch! This game will make both teams better moving forward.

Avery is their workhorse back and Montavin also gets a decent amount of carries. Where does Brown fit into the equation? He seems like he might be a better back than Avery but Avery is a senior if I'm not mistaken and has been really good for Boyle. Are they gonna move Brown into the starting job wants he becomes eligible? Are they gonna split carries? And if they do will Montavin see a decrease in carries as well, since he only had 96 carries last year, or end up playing just wr?
From what I could tell Brown and Quisenberry were playing ATH. Moving both all over the field and saying good luck finding and covering everyone. The options Haddix has is unreal. Bodner can play QB, RB, WR. Quisenberry can do the same. Dawson can play QB and WR and Brown can play RB and WR. The mix and match combinations are a nightmare for defenses. In 7 on 7 if I’m not mistaken I saw Brown at receiver several times.

So the solution is to punish the kid? The kid decided to leave and the only way for Danville to save themselves is to ensure that the kid doesn't get to play at all? For the record, Danville has not appealed for a second time they have 15 days to do so which is why the student isn't eligible for 15 days. The student didn't want to play for them so he moved I am not sure why anyone would want a kid who didn't want to be there to begin with just let him go. The fact of the matter is that the state and KHSAA have passed regulations that have allowed student-athletes to leave one school for another we can't change that so we need to be adults and let the kids do what is best for themselves.
On to the game I expect this to be a great game featuring two of the best teams in the state regardless of classification. It could very well come down to which team has the ball last!
Hearing that this is the case. Danville could decline the appeal by today and Brown be eligible immediately. Either way the kid isn’t going back to Danville so why bother. I’d like to see LCA and Boyle both at full strength. No should’ve, would’ve, could’ve scenarios if everyone is eligible and playing.

I think LCA is most definitely going to double team Montavin Quisenberry and not let him beat them, Geo Brown and Stewart have to step up big at receiver. LCA Brady Hensley is a load, Boyle better be ready to tackle him all night. Cutter Boley will face a pretty good secondary, but he will still have decent numbers. I can't pick until I know if Demauriah Brown is able to play, he's a difference maker, he gave LCA fits last year with his speed.
No Brown. KHSAA approved the transfer but Danville appealed it one final time knowing the ruling will be the same forcing 15 days of no Brown. He will be back for the Danville game though.

Cutter Boley was still at Larue last time these two played. Drew Nieves was the QB.
You are correct! Thank you for that! Nieves was the one injured and Moore stepped in at QB and LCA ran for more yards against Boyle in one game than I’ve seen in some entire regular seasons. Thank you!

The nightcap of the Rebel Bowl at Boyle has quite the matchup. 2 years ago this ended up as a 42-35 thriller in which LCA shocked Boyle running the Lynn Bowden wildcat offense as Cutter Boley watched from the sideline with a rib injury. This years matchup looks to be another good one but with Boley playing this time around. All the stats and stats need not be listed, this is a matchup of 2 of the states top teams and the top team in their respective classes. Everyone knows who each team has, it is not a secret at this point.
Who do you got in this big time showdown?- 2

Self admitted I do not know a ton about Gibson Southern outside of Calpreps has them #4 in 3A and #45 overall in Indiana. If anyone closer to that area wants to chime in please do!
As far as Boyle the expectations have not changed. State title or bust. It is no secret that the Rebels are LOADED when it comes to skill players but we all know that games are won and lost in the trenches and that is where the questions lie for this team.
Personal opinion is that in typical Boyle fashion this game will not be pretty. The first game typically leaves us thinking this team has a long way to go. I do think Boyle wins this by more than 2 touchdowns. Hopefully it’s a good test and exposes some weaknesses as that is how you improve week to week.

At one point I had a chart with every public schools head football coaches salary in the state of kentucky. The ones I could find on each districts respective site that is. But I have always wondered what the private schools were paying their coaches.
