Religious books in general that were written that long ago will be misinterpreted and taken within the context the individual reader sees it. Trying to rationalize slavery due to any verse in the bible is no different than Islamic State rationalizing jihad based on their religious book. The Constitution has Amendments based on society evolving. All personal interpretation is full of human error or can just a reason to perform the acts evoked by them.

Douthit knows his stuff when it comes to coaching individuals and fundamentals. Who would they get to go to that small of school that would be even as good?

There are white members of the NAACP. Any race can be the forefront to fight for equality. The issue is that she lied and misrepresented herself. What has she benefited from by not only lying about her race, but the fabricated stories? The stories is what baffles me more than anything. There are people that have truly lived harsh lives and situations that a person like this takes away from. Being born wrong race as mentioned in this thread makes no sense to me either. While gender is scientifically different, I teach my kids that we are all the same, in accordance to race, on the inside and the only thing different is the skin color. Believing in anything along the lines of a race transformation would completely contradict that.

The incoming 8th graders have some athletes that Bill McLeid has done a good job of finding and getting them to play football his upcoming season. Most did not play last year. I am not going to come out and say they run the table or anything but should look like a different team than last year.

I agree, are they moving around based on how good they think their team will be? The size of the school didn't change. Realignment I understand but not yearly.

I was saying I did not know that was even a thought. I would think it would be something the school would have to announce soon, and that options of playing elsewhere would have to be provided. I don't think Kenton Co schools can offer sports and other activities to all of their school except for one.

I knew about the Academy but not about at this time it is unclear as to whether or not Summit View Academy will have extra circular activities or not for 2015-2016. As far as I know they are and was contacted twice yesterday about the upcoming football season.

I am not really sure what they will have to be honest. The new coach got a lot of the athletes to come out. With only 5 teams in the Large School division, do they just play a random schedule to fill in more games?

Interest because I was not aware. My son goes to Summit View, did not play last year but has decided to play this year which is why I was curious. I did get emails from coach and team mom yesterday about the upcoming season.

How about the teams that are in the NKY Middle School League?

Are there any Boone Co teams in it except Walton? I know Cooper was playing as part of NKYFL for some ages.

I definitely could be wrong but I didn't think the Union Raiders played in the NKY Middle School League either. Who are their typical opponents?

Who does Woodland have? Their Taylor Mill Eagles team that are now 8th graders were not very good.

Now that school is out. Who are the teams to watch this year? How exactly does the division layout work now?

NKY Bulls also have McClendon, 7th grade PG from Holmes (completely legit by birthdate)

All 3 big men are excellent players. I did not see them against each other but a big difference in watching them play is that Highlands has 2 true inside players and Mayer is playing it alone at St Pius. Mayer is a complete player inside and stays in control of himself offensive and defensively, while I think you can get both of Highland's big men in foul trouble but they also use each other well inside with passing. The reason I agree that Mayer is the best big in the area is because he doesn't have the same kind of help.
