What happened to the guy or gal that was posting about the 16th region? Looks like every other district and region is being talked about.

Great coaching is a must! You can have all the talent in the world which will win you alot of games but when facing a great coach with as much or close to same level of talent the great coach will come out on top.

There are a few more Harold's in the 16th. Nobody ever see's there own faults or mistakes

There records are very similar, if and I say if Elliott beats them next week does that make them equal or just Elliott is playing better now? There are a few more things different than just schedules, enrollment plays a huge roll, new school for recruits and a better tax base to lure a coach with the quality of Coach Anderson. Boyd Co should always be the big dog in the 16th region & Oh and I am not butt hurt. Lol. It sore from last night but it's healing. Maybe next week the scab will fall off. If we can beat the lions of Boyd Co!

Isn't that an example of coaching, taking what you've got and winning. Surely you give some of the credit to Coach Creech or are Elliott Co 2 assistant last night just horrible. Looks like he should get the nod for being able to recognize his talents and putting together a game plan and winning. Thats more than some of the area teams in the 16th have been able to do up till this point. I vote for Robert Scott Creech!

Elliott Co lost last night was a terrible one. The fact are Coach Adkins wasn't their and don't look the the team chemistry wasn't the same last night. Bad shot selection, forced shots it was just a horrible game to watch and listen to. 18-8 and Elliott takes a shot with 6 or 7 seconds left in the half and they miss Wolfe goes down and scores before the half. That's just one instance with numerous other ones.. Great game plan by Wolfe and lack of coaching from Elliott.. I see them learning from this and putting it behind them.

Here is another example of coaching vs talent.

All I know is that there are a few posters that only want to pull the chain for Morgan Co. Morgan is very good team even with the additional player they received in the off season. My thinking is Elliott & Morgan has better talent than East & West and if you take less talent and win looks like we as fans should give props to these coaches. That's all I'm saying. Look past the records and into these teams players. And you will see Coach Baker is very deserving of the best coach in region.

I think he beat the team whom you are rooting for in OT! Which has two more dominating players that some posters on here keep including your self keep referring too. So you tell me is it talent or coaching?

Does anyone know each team records within their districts?

I think Elliott has beaten Morgan 3 times this year, 2 times on a neutral floor and once they dismantled them at Elliott. Holding Perry and Redparth to one of there lowest scoring games of the year. The first game they was up by as many as 15. The last time Morgan and Elliott traded punches until Elliott had 6 point lead with less than 3 minutes to play. But poor play and some bad decision, allowed Morgan to tie the game. So my thoughts are Boyd, Rowan, Elliott, right now East until Morgan plays them at home. Also I think Morgan could very well win the 62nd, probably the toughest district in the 16th region. IMO
