That makes the 63rd interesting. I would like to see those two teams meet again.

I think if Lewis defeats Raceland next week there would then be a 3-way tie for the #1 seed with Russell having the #4 seed.

Good win for GC! Last night Greenup Co. played the way most people thought they would play all year!

 

Maybe they can make a little run in the tournament!

I think GC should, and will, win the District. I know that sounds crazy but I think they have the personnel to win plus they are playing a little better.

A good win for GC but they still played sub par. Shot 43% overall, 35% behind the arch, 42% from FT line and had 18 turnovers according to Ashland Daily - Raceland just played worse - about as bad I've seen them play all year. What's the status of the Martin kid from GC, as he didn't play at all last night. He was dressed but never played, is he sick or hurt? Also Grooms (maybe 4-5 minutes) & Gammon (1-2 minutes) played very little last night also - what's going on with them?

After 23 games Harold still has no clue. For some reason Grooms hasn't played much the last 5or 6 games. I thought he was playing pretty good, and getting better. And why not let Gammon run the point some, he handles to ball good, and that would get Hughes on the wing , and may be a few more open looks. Martin can do some things inside, he`s a lot bigger than any one Raceland has. It was a very sloppy game by both teams. Harold is coaching likes it the beginning of the year, and not the end. With his line up changes and player rotation. Glad to have the win, but I`m sure Harold thinks the changes he made was the key to the win, and that's not good. The 35% behind the arch is not bad as a team, 18 turnovers and 42% at the foul line is really bad,, The kids missed the shots. I think some of the turnovers was caused by not being in the right offence , the guards seemed really far apart, witch makes for really long passes. And a lot of them came from that.

Should be good district match ups!

Greenup has the players to win the district. They have been so inconsistent this year though.

That district tournament will be as interesting as the 62nd.
