  1. Sidenote............LC managed just 23 yards offense the final 3 quarters.
  2. No matter how you look at it, a nice win for Lincoln, as Mr. Network stated earlier, probably their first quality win since 2000 or 2001. Their talent level has definitely increased. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
  3. If he has a back number he must be blessed with his Momma's speed instead of is daddy's!!..LOL
  4. I really don't see Lincoln winning as an upset. They are loaded with talented seniors. Lincoln wins 28-14.
  5. This is not a surprise at all. Lincoln has as much or more talent as they have had since 1999 (region final team). They are loaded at the skill positions with a good group of seniors and have some nice young linemen. If they can score the points they should this year (not happened with since French has been there) they will be a tough team to beat.
  6. Charging admission to a scrimmage is weak. There is money to be made in concessions, etc. Surely Danville doesn't need the money that bad.
  7. Letton's track record of taking over an established program is not that good. He started off strong \(6-0) at Montgomery in his first year but ended up losing a lot of games towards the end of the season. I remember Lincoln beating him 21-20 in overtime for their first loss in 1997, this seemed to start the slide. His second season was successful, but after that a major downward slide began. Montgomery has never recovered. Time will tell though, he may have learned from the past a be successful in this setting.........
