  1. 60 yard TD pass for OC extra point good. no good. 11:42 first qtr. OC 6 NH 0
  2. North Hardin DL is average. North Hardin QB duo of Kirkland and Loggins have thrown for 2,748 yards on the season in 8 games but have also thrown a combined 23 interceptions on the season. North Hardin has some talented players but they are undisciplined, are a turnover machine and rack up tons of penalty yardage in a game.
  3. I will be at this game tonight. Owensboro Catholic Should be very effective throwing against an average secondary for North Hardin. How is the OC secondary? North Hardin has a very accurate QB in Loggins and one of the best receivers in the state in Boykins. My Prediction: OC by 2-3 TDs
  4. I see it more and more at the High School, College and Pro levels, mouth guards not being worn. Is this no longer enforced or did the rules change regarding wearing mouth guards? I don’t hear anyone talking about it but notice it without any enforcement.
  5. John Hardin faces a tough task in the Desales Colts. DeSales QB Peyton Molter has thrown for 1565 yards to leading receivers DaVon Martin, Brioderick Price, and Brandon Williams. RBs Marshall Miller and Brandon Williams lead the team on the ground. Desales is a pass heavy team that has thrown for 1800 yards on the season. With John Hardin's trouble defending in the defensive secondary, this could be a long night. Prediction: DeSales 35 John Hardin 14
  6. Owensboro Catholic comes to Radcliff as the #1 RPI rating in class 2A and an offense that has put up impressive offensive numbers this season. QB Brady Atwell has thrown for 2849 yards on the season to a host of receivers led by William Carrico. Their combined passing yards on the season is over 3200 yards. QB Brady Atwell is also the leading RB for the OC team. Their only close game this season was against Owensboro (33-28). North Hardin is leading class 6A in passing with over 2400 passing yards. Leading a talented WR group is Louisville commit Shaun Boykins (1000 yards receiving). This should be a fun game to watch and I expect the scoreboard to light up in this one with 2 prolific passing teams. Prediction: Owensboro Catholic 44 North Hardin 32
  7. This game spells TROUBLE for a Central Hardin team who has struggled in the secondary with teams that can pass the ball. Bryan Station comes into this game with a 6-3 record and a passing attack led by QB Trenton Cutwright, and leading receiver JT Haskins. Bryan station is very balanced on offense with 1450 rushing yards and 1383 passing yards. I am still trying to wrap my head around why CH would schedule this game as their last game of the season leading into the playoffs? The negatives outweigh the positives in this one. CH has virtually no chance in this game and can only come away with a risk of injuries and a bruised psyche going into the playoffs. With that being said. QB Zachary Spurrier had probably the best passing game of the season hitting on a 48 yard passing TD and completing numerous intermediate passes. RB Mason Gardner finished the night with over 100 yards rushing, running over and around Barren County defensive players. Central Hardin must establish some sort of running game if it wants to have a chance in this game. Prediction: Bryan Station 42 Central Hardin 14
  8. I have to disagree with DawgsFan100 here. Moral victories for John Hardin don't get you wins, don't signal progress, and don't improve your playoff seeding. Fans that do not have player ties to the team will only start coming back to John Hardin games when they start winning on a regular basis and competing for District, Region, and state championships.
  9. Central Hardin dominated up front on both sides of the ball. RB Mason Gardner rushed for over 100 yards and QB Zachary Spurrier had a big night throwing the ball including a 48 yard TD pass in the first qtr. Central Hardin is 6A District 2 champions with this win. This sets up a potential rematch with North Hardin in the second round of the playoffs.
