  1. Blocked kick by CH hits a CH player and BC recovers and gets the ball at their own 28.
  2. First and goal at the 3 yard line for Central Hardin . Gardner on a 3 yard TD run, 2 pt conversion no good, Central Hardin 6 Barren County 0
  3. Central Hardin going for it on a 4th and 3 at the Barren County 6 yard line.
  4. Barren County 3 and out to start the game. Central Hardin takes over at the Barren County 40.
  5. In the end, Districts 1 and 2 are weak 6A Districts. 2 of the following 3 teams is almost assured of making it to the 3rd round of the playoffs. North Hardin Central Hardin Henderson County.
  6. John Hardin is led by its trio of RBs Emari Simon, Laysen Anderson, and Cavali Pittman who have combined for 1,587 yards on the ground. Nelson County is also a run heavy team led by Joey Goff (718 yards). The defense that can limit the rushing yards and win the turnover battle will win this game against what appears to be 2 evenly matched teams. As a side note, the Nelson County school board has voted to merge Thomas Nelson and Nelson County schools. The board voted in favor of continuing to develop a plan to merge the two schools. Students at Thomas Nelson high school walked out in protest of this decision.
  7. North Hardin rolls in this game as their passing game is hard to defend. Their 2 QBs (Durrelle Loggins and Jakylin Kirkland), have amassed 2,379 yards thru the air. Leading receivers Shaun Boykins (919 yards and Ronald Lunz 510 yards), lead a prolific passing game. The only thing preventing this team from having a breakout season is their lack of discipline on the field, multiple turnovers by both QBs, as well as penalties. If true and based on multiple sources, they must also forfeit their last 2 games due to using an ineligible player. North Hardin should win this one by multiple TDs
  8. Correct about North Hardin and I would also say that the outcome also depends on which Central Hardin team shows up!
  9. Coming off of a bye week,Central Hardin must improve its QB play and decision making, establish the run and play a more disciplined game, eliminating the turnovers and penalties that have plagued them thru 8 games. The Barren County game is never easy for Central Hardin and they must play one of their better games of the season to come away with a win. While I wouldn’t be surprised I’d Barren County pulls this one out, I will pick CH in a close game.
  10. It doesn’t appear that the starting QB for Meade County, #7 Cade Scott is warming up with the offense. That is a big loss for Meade County. Looks like they are going with Bennett Hobbs, the backup QB. He is also their leading receiver, so they lose that aspect also.
