  1. Looking forward to the game. I won't be able to attend but I will have it on hudl as soon as it is posted. I do know that senior RB/LB Kirk Everman will most likely rest in this as he's trying to nurse a hamstring injury sustained in summer practice. Hope the Rams are healthy and ready to go. Good luck to both teams!

  2. In my opinion ranking or rating these player stars is kinda, not always OVERRATED. I say hard work beats talent every time. They took a pole of all the players that participated in the Super Bowls and low and behold, not one player on the rosters were 4, 5 star players in HS/ College. just saying.

Not one player on either Super Bowl team was a 4 or 5 star recruit? Where did you get this information? I'm willing to bet that is false.

  3. The Lions have a few quick receivers to throw too, only thing hurting that is a lot of them are undersized. His only receving targets over 6' are freshman Zach Robersion (who may see some varsity time), sophomore Isaac Kelly (who will definitely see some varsity time), and junior TE Landon Stone (who stands about 6'4-6'5 250+ lbs). So there is some height in the receiving core, its just very inexperienced. Look for seniors Isaiah Esham, Austin Evans, Michael Lumpkins, and Gage Yates to also catch some passes. Evans also plays runningback.

  4. Just had a schedule sent to me. In the varsity division, Pool A consists of Fleming 1, Russell Maroon, Raceland Black, Greenup 1, and Fairview. Pool B consists of Greenup 2, Raceland Orange, Fleming 2, Russell Gold, and Lewis County. There is also a JV division which consists of Lewis County, Russell Maroon, Raceland 3, Russell 4, and Greenup 3.
