  1. Heard that sophomore to be and baseball/basketball stand out Isaac Kelly has now been out at practice for the Lions. They've been working him at QB, WR, and safety. He will play receiver this season for the Lions and likely take over under center after Parks graduates this year. Kelly is a very nice athlete that will help Lion football out a lot.

  2. If the Mavericks can sign Deron Williams they may be able to make this offseason a successful one still despite losing Jordan. A starting lineup consisting of Williams, Matthews, Parsons, and Dirk could do some damage no matter who their center is, With the offense from the other four positions all they really need is a 5 who can defend and rebound. Of course, all of this is if they can get Williams who isn't the player he once was, but still much better than the options the Mavs currently have at the 1.

  3. Lonnell Dewalt from Warren Central. Almost single handedly lifted then over St X in 2003.

Seriously, I'm borderline appalled he wasn't even on the honorable mention, and I believe he belongs on the team. I'd easily knock off Burton, who didn't even really play WR.

Where did Manual use Burton in high school? He was a very good WR at UK.

  4. Give me Channing Fugate at Fullback over Hatfield. No disrespect to Austin, but Fugate played FB at Tennessee and EKU and made the Baltimore Ravens practice squad this summer I believe. Until Hatfield has that kind of resume, I don't know how you can put him ahead of Fugate.

  5. Just saw that Zack Klemme of the Ashland Daily independent tweeted it. Coach Martino led Russell to runner-up finishes in both the 63rd District tournament and the 16th Region tournament this year, losing both games to Greenup County. Coach Martino coached at Russell as either an assistant or head coach for 17 seasons.
