Pitino predicted that Donovan would stay at UF. He said one day the Gators will play on "Billy Donovan Court".

Tommy and Lou
Before or after the rumble?

It's not fair and it never will be fair. If you look at Trinity and Ryle last year that was a complete miss match. I didn't watch either team play all season, but from living in the NKY area, I kew Ryle was going to lose by about 40 points. If you look at the small area that Ryle draws kids from, and Trinity being able to recruit from all over Louisville its rediculous. I will stay stay Covcath (AAA) another private school would have given Trinity a much better game and in my opinion would have probably beat Trinity. You will see more and more public schools take matters into their own hands (Highlands, Beechwood) until this is fixed.
"take matters into their own hands"? What does that mean? Both teams mentioned have won plenty of titles. In fact Hichlands chose to play up against schools larger than themselves, how do you explain that?
FYI, the mismatch in the Trinity/Ryle game was at the coaching level.

Is that the new avatar rage? Celebrity mug shots?
How about the avatar used by 4chs? Is that Billy D receiving or sending that box of money via Emery Overnight?
-
No way. Those kids are leading a revival of basketball at Lexington Catholic!
I've heard that Billy will send the kids to LexCath and he is building them a new state of the art basketball arena called the "Donovan Dome". Fans from around the state will hate LexCath so much they will take to booing Billy at Rupp. JMO, of course.

Back to the point of this thread....
ESPN is reporting that Billy G just agreed to a contract with A&M through 2012.
-
I just hope Fletch is taking all of this in and planning a super-duper post of Donovan predictions if this deal falls through. If Barnhart gets played by Donovan and Foley he should just quit.
-
If that is true I certainly hope that it s NOT Motta!! , Talk about setting the program back to the Sutton regime ?
JMO.
Is that Manny "Motta"?
-
I've heard that Barnes has already said he is not interested, at all. Maybe it's just a plot to try and keep Durant in Texas....
The only way to "keep Durant in Texas" is for the Mavs, Spurs or Rockets to trade up and draft him. He is gone.
-
So with the kids in school and her husband getting ready to play in the final four, the little woman sneaks back to Lexington to house hunt???
At least make it the classic "Donovan's wife buying a horse farm in Lexington" rumor. Donovan may get the job but most of this stuff is pure crap.

I had to leave for a bit, did OJ ever hit a shot ?
I think he has 9 points.

Latest rumor: Calethes' brother has inquired about transfer possibilities from St. Joes as part of a package deal. More to come ...
That would be really sad. I saw the brother play for St.Joes vs. the Cards. He is marginal at best. What would this kid do for a really top notch program other than tote his little brother's bag.

CBSSports.com is reporting that UK has hired a search firm (the same one that UM used to contact Tubby) and that firm has asked been granted permission to contact Mark Few. If its all about Billy, Billy, Billy what is up with this?

I'd like to hear from anybody that follows a team that has a spring game. When is/was it? How did is go? New developments? Etc.
-
You're right! They want to be like Duke.
"Bingo", I could not have said it any better.:thumb:
-
Trinity will not get 3 or 4 players from everybody else.. just kidding
How about X having a bold prediction of "they won't start any former Rocks".
-
THEY DON'T.:thumb:
The "Prince of Denial".

Probably seven national championships, more wins than any other program, no matter who the coach has been they have all enjoyed at least one thirty win season, over 20,000 fans showing up just for a pre season practice....these things and a lot more probably help fuel an inferiority complex in some. But then again if you take it over to college football people think the same of Notre Dame and USC fans as well.
The above explains it better than anyone could, just not for the reasons he thinks:lol: .:sssh:
-
TRINITY WILL GO WINLESS THE ENTIRE SEASON:sssh:
Just kidding.
That's a little too bold to say the least.
They tried that in 03 but got tired of it after four games.:thumb:

Rumor has it that Pitino is looking at horse farms in the Lexington area.:sssh:

Believe me, Billy Donovan coming to Kentucky makes more sense than Rick Pitino, in my opinion. I have told it will be Pitino.
Remember, Florida with all key players back from a National Championship team rarely sold out the O'Connell Center which seats about 12,500. They brought one thousand with them to the SEC tournament. They had about 500 follow them during their first two NCAA games.
It just isn't Kentucky and that is why I would think Billy would be most interested. But........Rick (his mentor) wants the job!
Dude, you better hope this turns out to be true (against all odds) because if it doesn't and I run into you in the post-season... prepare to be dogged out like no other. I will introduce you as "that guy that swore Pitino was coming back to UK". I will be "LSURock the Merciless". I think you must be listening to some crazy folks. Good luck from someone that couldn't care less but is betting that you are wrong, wrong, wrong.
-
Will all those points translate into a victory over X or H or both???
-
I think Stein will do fine at QB. I do expect the Rocks to run quite a bit this season as well as use their short passing game. Remember, the Rocks made it to the state final in Beatty's first year with Geoff Riddle at QB.
-
What's the point of this thread other than to show your arrogance?
Have a little fun X-man. Live a little and start a St.X "Bold Prediction Thread" of your own. Make it bold... like "Ben Zoeller will throw for 3,000 yards this season".
Rick Pitino and Rex Chapman on Jim Rome today

If you believe that there aren't different levels of racism in different parts of the state and different parts of the country you are indeed "naive".
