Who was the OSU player that stated that UF is "a good team, but not great"? I wonder how he feels now?
-
Same way you get away with raping him on every Possession.

The scholarships or aid given are sometimes called "work study programs"
the money "earned" by working these programs is well and above the money the student would make dueing a similar job outside of the school, also it is tax free as it is applied to tuition. And I am familiar with these programs because I participate in one.
That isn't the case at Trinity in my experience.
The work is hard and the pay is low, but the payoff is priceless. JMO, of course.

I seem to remember Beatty taking a chance with a sophmore starter a few years ago. It worked out OK, but the kid's name escapes me. What was that kid's name?
-
Trinity will have a new QB that no one expected and be a finalist for the Mr. Football award.
Do you have some inside info? Trinity's projected starter at QB is a senior (we all expect him to be the starter). He is the only senior QB on the depth chart I believe. So unless someone decides to change to the QB position or some phenom senior transfers to Trinity, your prediction isn't just bold, it is impossible.

Micah could not play anymore because of an injury to his back. I read where coach Brooks said that he will still be on scholarship so he could get his degree. That was in the Paducah Sun. Does anyone know if he quit school or not?
I would hope that he would be allowed to earn a degree on scholarship after being injured playing a sport for the university.

The CJ reported that Micah Johnson is now 6'2" and 270#. Brooks says he will still play at MLB. He was a liability on the field last year at 20# less. What is Brooks thinking, put the kid's hand on the ground and get it over with. He will not be able to play LB in the SEC at 270#.

C'mon, what was the name?
Are they currently a college basketball coach?
Was it LSURock?
I've already told them that I am happy in my current situation, but thanks.:thumb:

Did any of you guys read the UL message boards early in the season? There were a very larger percentage wanting to fire Pitino this year.
But the guy that really matters, Jurich, stood by his guy and declared that "Rick Pitino will be the coach at UofL for as long as he wants to, period". To the contrary Barnhart flip-flopped around until Tubby decided to get out of Dodge. I'd say the "Boot Pitino" fans were out-numbered 10-1 by the "Tubby Bashers".

I think if you lived in the NKY area, you would understand more of what I meant by it.
Then again, you could just explain what you mean.
-
Careful, colorful prose like that will get people thinking were the same person posting on seperate accounts...
What a mistake that'd be, huh?
I can't help it, I'm a public school grad from way back.:sssh:

Did you watch the interview they just gave on CBS? Noah almost couldn't even make sentences.
Yeah, and Randolph, Joe, Bobby, etc. are quite the eloquent raconteurs.
-
Noah and Brewer = Total Combined IQ of about 140
About the same number as the starting five at UK.
-
That has nothing to do with this game either.
And of course Glen Davis does. If you want to dish it out, you should learn to take it.

You have time to cheap shot me in the threads, why not PM me? Here's a good rule of thumb - if you don't have anything positive to contribute, then just read.
Rule of thumb, if you have something to say...say it. Quit the cloak and dagger PM stuff and post what you think you know so it can come back to haunt you at a later date.
-
That is the truth RP, why PM to get another serving of blue-baloney.
-
What does Tubby have to do with the UCLA/Florida game? Nice attempt at a cheap shot, but we don't care.
Oh yeah, is the sun still shining in Baton Rouge?
49-zip in the sport that matters.
-

I guess that is what Tubby was doing on the recruiting trail.
-
I thought with my first BGP post i would start with a bang. Is UK's biggest mistake in recent years letting the "home town hero" Chris Lofton go to Tennessee?
-The Sowman
Passing on offering Brewer was as big for sure. Letting Wright slip away to UNC was a pretty big boo-boo as well.
-
Arkansas (with all that Walton $$$) is a major step up from Memphis. He would be crazy to turn down the Hogs if the job is offered.
-
Brewer looked awesome tonight. It is hard to believe that Tubby hesitated to offer him. According to the folks in Portland Brewer longed to be Wildcat. Hard to figure.
-
So now UCLA has no time-outs for the rest of the game???

The Hoyas are getting jobbed. First the ticky-tack fourth fool on Hibbert. Then Oden runs over Green and the foul goes on Green. Pitiful.

Not trying to be negative but do you see this happening? When you couple Coach Glaser's reluctance to make changes (already noted in this thread by the X-men) with the fact that he openly criticized his primary rival for this exact method over the past few years. It makes it kind of hard for him to reverse field and declare that it is now the answer. JMO, of course.
