Nice couple of games so far for Torey Cordell-Armstrong! I know the Jags defense was huge again, but this kid is fun to watch.

Not to get way from the game thread, but has the parking situation at the new field always been this bad? I know for CC fans this was a very big game playing Highlands and then the Greg Rose tribute. I figured they were expecting a rather large crowd. I reached Sharky's at 6:10 and finally got to my parking spot at 6:45. I don't know. Maybe it was just for this game. It looked like they have a lot of land to build some more parking spaces though. Still....it's a BEAUTIFUL campus!

CC did lose a lot from last year, but they have a lot of young talent. Very good athletes.The biggest question mark was who would fill the QB spot. Defense will be solid again though. As far as Highlands not being as good as they used to be? I guess we will have to wait and see. I don't read to much into scrimmages. I never count out any Highlands team. With or without Mueller.

I think the Camels keep it close early, but Highlands pulls away late in the third. 34-17

Solid defense will again be the theme of this years Cooper team. However, they also have a very nice running back in junior Torey Cordell-Armstrong. Tough little kid. Oh yeah, and fast! I believe he was injured last year and didn't get a chance to play.
