I believe the Camels lost 4 Seniors (3 starters). Rachel Carroll graduating will be a tough loss. Depending on how things shake out they have 2 or 3 returning seniors (Jessica Verst 3 year starter infield) (Mallory McGrath 2 year starter probably will be the #1 pitcher) and Hannah Owens (back up pitcher) and a couple of impact juniors (Daniel Orick 2 year starter) Brittany Fornash (earned starting role mid-way through season last year) after that they do have a lot of younger talent. How they do will depend on how the underclassmen fit in.

Why repeat a rumor. Know the Camel coaches very good people.

OK, so just reading up on this post. In NKY there are the Bandits with a team at every breakout 14u and under. NKY Explosion have multiple teams, NKY Stealers have a couple, NKY Khaos have a couple of teams and NKY Krushers have an 02 team (they turned away more kids due to not enough coaches). I have ties to the Krushers, the bigger problem that we found lacking of volunteers for coaching. If someone reads this posts and is looking for more NKY teams, I would believe that out of the 5 organizations listed above you could find a team or start one if coaching support was there.

Just curious, I have not seen the Camels yet, but I know they played Highlands tough after being down 23 to start. So how much was what they did right?

RiverCity is doing an awesome job of putting together a quality league. Last year was tough and this year the schedule was a work in progress but only due to fact that the interest was growing so quick. Old RiverStar closer to Campbell County than Kenton Lakes, but much higher level of competition. When I was in the Campbell County league they never voted on officers or the Board, actually pushed me out of the league but all for the best.

Program at the start of the thread, coaches would have started Brandi Rice and batted her cleanup if healthy. No travel ball experience.
