Oh, I do! I do! It’s older… 2004 I think, automatic (it's our college kiddo's car).
We bought used too, low mileage, ran the Car Fax. It had an oil leak when we first got it, which helped us get a good deal, fixed it and no probs since then (knock on wood).
It is a GREAT car though. Great pick up, great gas mileage. Fun and sporty looking. We love driving it. I would recommend it!

Jaylen Johnson seemed to play very well in his brief appearances late this season. I liked his aggressiveness and hustle.
Will he play a bigger role next season?

Great post season run Cards! Can’t believe we were one missed free throw away from the Final Four. Agggh!
I will miss Montrezl so much… it would be so cool if he decides to come back for his senior season. LOL
Oh well, time to slug through major league baseball until College Football begins.
Go Cards!

On a separate and unrelated side note… I loved “The Ville!” capital one commercial with Charles Barkley, Samuel L. Jackson & Spike Lee. It was the first time I saw it. I miss my hometown soooo much!

Yay Gill!!!! Way to go Cards!
This is turning into a fun run!!
(Hope Rozier's back is okay)

My college kid recently came home for Spring Break and I swear was more excited to see the pets than some of her siblings. LOL. Sometimes I have to Facetime them to her. Anyway it made me wonder how bad some people must miss their pets when they are away from home.

Whew! I really didn’t want to flush my bracket after the first game.

I had (still have) tickets for the Wed. Mar. 4 games (CCH/Newport & St. Henry/Cooper) games at BOKC. Anyone know if the tix will work for today?

The dude with the feathers will make it entertaining. His hug though...

I’m with Gold Sunrise on this – really surprised with the Chris Jones news, especially after his performance at yesterday’s game. But no doubt warranted whatever it turns out to be.
On the other hand if Harrell is making a joke out of the program… keep the jokes coming. LOL! Go Montrezl!!
-
I did enjoy watching David Levitch play some - he’s pretty cool.
But for the love of all that is good and human in the world… C’mon Cards, get your act together, maybe make a basket or two, and try to finish strong! Sheesh.

Those of you who pay to use Turbo Tax, I'm assuming you bought the software? Why are you paying to do it with TurboTax? Mine has always been free?
Turbo Tax online charges you for the Package (software) & Filing Fees. There are checklists or they can walk you thru which package that you'll need: the Free EZ one, the Deluxe, the Premier, etc.
-
Turbo Tax... I find it very easy and organized, even with a house, college expenses and minor investments. I like the side to side comparison they keep right in front of you (this year vs last year) and I find the tips fairly useful.
Before I begin I always go online and type “Turbo Tax discount”, and can usually find a code to get $20 bucks or so off. This year I went via the Fidelity Investments website.
Federal + State came in just under $100 (filed State right before they halted it).

"Little House on the Prarie" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder an
"Little Women" books by Louisa May Alcott
Most of the Nancy Drew books, too.
Ah - loved these! I would also add the Anne of Green Gables series, which remain my all time favorite from my youth. Even today there are certain people I immediately identify as "kindred spirits".

The first Christmas song heard on my car radio over the weekend was Feliz Navidad. The kids and I sang it at the top of our lungs.

Can someone provide today's results when available? Which teams qualified for State, in each class?
Will this weather affect the results?
Serious kudos to the runners (and coaches, parents, etc.) that are out there this morning - wow.
-
Awwww good effort Cardinals! Loved the fight, hated the mistakes. Oh well… you made it tough on ‘em!
But wow… even a gimpy Winston is an absolute beast. Very impressed with him!

Please show me where I called a kid names.
what you quoted
was exactly what I posted.
You show me where I called
anyone, kid or adult, any name.
To be clear, you Hellbird, did not call a kid names.
The genesis for my post #32, which you referenced in post #69, was in response to someone who did.
-
Also when Pura said there is no need to ride this kid...well I disagree, maybe riding hiim is the only way to let him know that what he did and how he behaved is unacceptable behavior, appreantly some on here unfortunately think that type of behavior is just fine and that is sad.
Hellbird… it’s never ok for adults to name call HS kids on a public forum. It’s inexcusable. The offending comment was quickly (and appropriately) erased by the mods.
Calling a kid names only serves to make YOU look like a (sore) loser... and that my friend is very sad.
-
So it's not just his response to the CCH crazies,
You lost, it’s over, you can’t change anything by riding this kid. It’s time to move along with your life.
-
Tears shed here as well, congratulations to your amazing wife, sweet sons, and to YOU!
(So glad this forum exists for this kind of thing. While I don't know you, I'm so happy for you!)

Going with the heart on this one.
Cards’ use some sort of sweet Gardner/Bonnafon rotation that is unexpected and thus enables early scoring; defense remains steady; Cards’ pull off the upset 31-27.
