  1. Oh, I do! I do! It’s older… 2004 I think, automatic (it's our college kiddo's car).

We bought used too, low mileage, ran the Car Fax. It had an oil leak when we first got it, which helped us get a good deal, fixed it and no probs since then (knock on wood).

It is a GREAT car though. Great pick up, great gas mileage. Fun and sporty looking. We love driving it. I would recommend it!

  2. Great post season run Cards! Can’t believe we were one missed free throw away from the Final Four. Agggh!

I will miss Montrezl so much… it would be so cool if he decides to come back for his senior season. LOL

Oh well, time to slug through major league baseball until College Football begins.

    Go Cards!

  3. My college kid recently came home for Spring Break and I swear was more excited to see the pets than some of her siblings. LOL. Sometimes I have to Facetime them to her. Anyway it made me wonder how bad some people must miss their pets when they are away from home.

  4. Those of you who pay to use Turbo Tax, I'm assuming you bought the software? Why are you paying to do it with TurboTax? Mine has always been free?

Turbo Tax online charges you for the Package (software) & Filing Fees. There are checklists or they can walk you thru which package that you'll need: the Free EZ one, the Deluxe, the Premier, etc.

  5. Turbo Tax... I find it very easy and organized, even with a house, college expenses and minor investments. I like the side to side comparison they keep right in front of you (this year vs last year) and I find the tips fairly useful.

Before I begin I always go online and type “Turbo Tax discount”, and can usually find a code to get $20 bucks or so off. This year I went via the Fidelity Investments website.

Federal + State came in just under $100 (filed State right before they halted it).

  6. "Little House on the Prarie" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder an

"Little Women" books by Louisa May Alcott

Most of the Nancy Drew books, too.

Ah - loved these! I would also add the Anne of Green Gables series, which remain my all time favorite from my youth. Even today there are certain people I immediately identify as "kindred spirits".

  7. Also when Pura said there is no need to ride this kid...well I disagree, maybe riding hiim is the only way to let him know that what he did and how he behaved is unacceptable behavior, appreantly some on here unfortunately think that type of behavior is just fine and that is sad.

Hellbird… it’s never ok for adults to name call HS kids on a public forum. It’s inexcusable. The offending comment was quickly (and appropriately) erased by the mods.

Calling a kid names only serves to make YOU look like a (sore) loser... and that my friend is very sad.
