"Steps called." "Your lights are burning."
Time is out-ah............ on the floooor.

I love Sean… I could listen to Threeeee Leeee all day long! And then the barely audible note of the opponents score is hilarious.
John Tong sounded like quite the character. When I was in college I worked in an office with his girlfriend. He would leave messages in an exaggerated John Tong’y French accent, “could you tell her Jacques (or Pierre) called pleeeeease.”
But who cares about announcers?!?! Still riding that victory high this morning; I knew they could do it! Go Cards!!

Cards just knocked off the #2 team in the country.... yahoooooooo!!

What an exciting day - the Lou/NC game and the Iowa Caucus! Love it… LOL
I predict the hometown boys, Snider & Spalding, have big nights which somehow leads the Cards to the upset. Pumped for this game, I really wish I could be at the Yum tonight… Goooo Cards!

I had such a good feeling about this game! I had such good seats for this game! My white out swag was so on-point! And the most exciting thing turned out to be he half time jump rope show. Sigh…
Now we turn to February and NC… yay…. Oh well, go Cards!

Rick Pitino was wearing them last night at the UofL game, as part of Suits and Sneakers (Coaches vs. Cancer) week.

College freshman in Louisville…. a group of us were watching it live in a common area. It was so hyped up because of Christa McAuliffe. At one of our College reunions someone pointed out “hey this is the room where we watched the Challenger”. A shared, sad memory…

When Lee/Lewis are hot and score 51 combined, I would normally think the Cards win by 20+. But man oh man, those fouls/free throws! Bet Pitino couldn’t get out of there quick enough.
Tackle trap, it looked like Johnson hyper extended his elbow on that collision a few minutes before, which could have affected that free throw.

I wish it would rain in NKY, I have so much salty dirty gunk on my car.
I'm too lazy to find/dig out the garden hose; and I don't want to pay $7 for a spray at the car wash.

I kind of like where the Cards sit “officially” ranked 14/16. However, if they get at least 1 win in upcoming games against VA or NC, without looking past VA Tech, I think the rank finally goes down.
But whatever, it’s an exciting time of year!

Way to go Cards, way to go Mahmoud, what an intense game!
Had to head out at half-time with the Cards down by 7; not at all confident about how this one would end. Glad I recorded it.

Dang, the UofL walk-ons/bench got crushed extremely quick at the end.
It makes you realize how good the players are on the other team; which then makes you appreciate how good your starters are.

I just read Aldis does not accept credit cards, you have to bring your own bags and a quarter for a cart. Is this true? If I have to “think ahead” to shop I’m not sure if it will work for me. lol

And a central vac makes it even easier.
I bet! Before Christmas I repeatedly saw a tv ad about an i-robot little vacuum cleaner that just kind of bounces around cleaning the floors. I want one of those so bad!! (one of my kids googled it and it sounded pretty expensive though).

Hardwood! It’s just so classically nice looking and easy to keep clean with kids and pets. It’s one of the reasons I love my house.
We have carpet in all the bedrooms - - and now wish we had done all hardwood when we had the chance.

Not my goal at all. I just think this team has boatloads of potential and can't wait until they play up to it.
No arguments with how beautifully smothering that defense was last night. Lewis, Lee, Snider, and Mitchell didn't let those guards so much as breathe freely.
Yay, now you're getting there! Have to enjoy that Friday buzz...
-
Smothering defense, but Louisville stretched that lead in the final minutes when Pitt had given up the ghost.
Bad shooting night from both teams. Have to get Lee to stop taking his threes from two steps behind the line and Lewis didn't score at all.
@Getslow - Let's remain focused on the positives, it's Friday after all!! The Cards had worn Pitt down by the end and eventually the offense will return (I hope LOL).
-
Cards played some seriously good defense last night against Pitt at the Yum!
-
ACC play is gonna be brutal… that was a tough game! Love this part of the season though.

Finally saw it last night and LOVED it!
Found myself choked up a couple of times – they nailed the Hans & Leia scenes. (Took me back to summer of ’77 as a kid, when my sibs and I sat mesmerized watching the original at the drive-in LOL).
Excited to see the mysteries unfold as stated by others – love Rey & Finn!

Bowl Day!!! I think we should add a poll to this thread…
I’m super excited to see the football Cards one more time this year. Following pictures on facebook and twitter, looks like folks are having a good time in Nashville!
Go Cards!

I hate going to the gym in January. The one month club are in beast mode.
Same problem with my work’s salad bar line in January, it’s my annual pet peeve.
