  1. Would love to have seen that go through...
  2. Agreed, couldn’t have said it better.. In fact, let’s trade McCarron... I’m sick of hearing how great he is, when we’ve seen him in pre-season, regular season and post season games being nothing special whatsoever.
  3. U can reply, absolutely... but ur book long posts are falling on deaf ears.. that’s all I’m saying. U don’t need to write a book several times in a thread to make ur point... which hasn’t changed in forever. Myself and others respond to u, because we’re sick of ur same old rhetoric. Nothing more... but yeah, you have a right to respond as you wish. Knock yourself out. It’s what a message board is for after all. Also, I noticed u didn’t respond to my Esiason question... how many great years? No more than Dalton... if u look you’ll find the same with many QB’s .. besides last season, how about Matt Ryan? How about Carson Palmer? Etc etc
  4. Going by his stats... u can say he’s the best QB in Bengals history... period. How many good years did Esiason have? 1? 2? Lol! You’re hilarious at this point.. you’re turning into one of those posters that most of us just automatically ignore... you’re bringing nothing new to the table. It’s a shame, because you’ve shown capable insights and arguments for many of your positions... even on this one... sure, there’s an argument to move on from Andy... we all understand that.. what you don’t seem to understand is there is a good argument for keeping Andy too... and many of us have solidly backed that up as well... Give it a rest... we don’t agree with you on this and we never will... and we get you don’t agree with us... but you’re constant bashing of Dalton is beyond old... it’s comical at this point.
  5. No, I’ve said a hundred times... move on from Marvin... but I wouldn’t move on from a good QB who just turned 30. And lucky for myself and those who agree with me, the franchise also seems to agree... I think, if by some miracle, Marvin is fired... Dalton will stay. And I believe Dalton has earned the chance to see how he would do under a new coaching staff... jmo.
  6. Dalton will go down as a top 3 and possibly the top QB in Bengals history... in terms of winning percentage, completion %, yards, TD’s, etc... You can’t name 15 current NFL QB’s that everyone, including NFL GM’s, would agree are better than Dalton... that said, u don’t throw away a top 15-20 NFL QB because you’re just interested to see what a back up or rookie can do... it’s just plain silly imo.
  7. Just one example... Alex Smith with Andy Reid... whole different level QB... I think a guy like Reid would make a world of difference...
  8. One thing I would like to see... Dalton with a different head coach.... Marvin has coached with Kitna, Palmer, Fitzpatrick and Dalton... hasn’t won big games with any of them.... Dalton has only had Marvin.... he’s had a few coordinators and he obviously did better with the better coordinators, Gruden and Jackson... hmmmm... just maybe he’d do better with a great head coach, just a thought.
  9. One of the best posts I’ve read in awhile... it boils down to coaching it seems... these guys have NFL talent or they wouldn’t be in the league, and yet, there are always free rushers getting in AD’s face... whether it’s scheme or execution, the coaches gotta get that line right... change schemes or change personnel.
  10. He lined up over Bodine... he side stepped him... the guard took on another rusher... Bodine touched no one... the guard can’t take on two guys and the center take on no one...
  11. Bodine literally touched no one there... just watched the guy run around him straight into Dalton’s chest... wow
  12. More great defense, lol! It’s embarrassing to give up a TD there...
  13. So we all know the Colts stink... our offense still looking suspect, defense isn’t dominating them, and our special teams is mostly stinking.... could it be a coaching problem? Lol... wonder what it’ll take before Mike Brown realizes the Marvin has done all he can here?
  14. Lol! U got me there... 2 lines are just as bad...
  15. Did Dalton look as good in person as he did on tv on that TD pass? Lol. And off the back foot with constant pressure... give the guy a break people.. his line is the worst in pro football...
  16. Agree with this entire post.. he’d be the guy I’d want... not sure he wants the Bengals job though... we’ll see, if Marvin even gets fired.
  17. I’d like to see them go after the Patriots’ offensive coordinator (Josh McDaniels)... he had some head coaching experience in Denver.... but I seriously doubt he’d be interested in the Bengals job, even if by some miracle it were available.
  18. Guess that’s why Mixon isn’t in all the time.. lol
  19. Can we please see Mixon the rest of the game... Hill and Gio should be used as back ups only at this point... it’s obvious
  20. Imo, they gave up on Romeo as HC way too soon several years back... maybe they'll stay the course with Hue, because they haven't stayed the course with anybody and it's kept them in the cellar.
