  1. Well I'm an idiot! Just noticed you said "only team in NKY without a loss"....ugh!
  2. ....and on a side note.....E-town beat Scott by 23!
  3. I beg to differ. E-town has not lost in state yet while maintaining a 30 point margin of victory over Kentucky teams!
  4. Sorry Clyde, "bias" was probably a poor choice of a word. A more fitting word would have been emphasis. All I hear about is NKY teams and how they haven't gotten the respect they deserve, and how such and such should be ranked higher, and so forth. All in all, I was just wondering why all of the emphasis on the NKY teams.
  5. Ahhh, gotcha! Thanks. The bias on the forum for those teams is kind of ridiculous!
  6. Well, I would say that I am fairly new to the forum but I do troll it several times a day. What I'm wanting for someone to explain to me is the high emphasis (it seems) on the NKY Teams. As I read threads from day to day it seems that NKY is sort of placed into a class by themselves; that being separate from the rest of the states teams. They even have their own rankings! Is it that the Girls Basketball Forum is filled with NKY fans? Someone please explain to me why NKY seems to be it's own community, separating themselves from the rest of the state.
  7. Only team that will beat E-town this year in KY is E-Town! Too many weapons on that team. In seeing all of the teams play in the prestigious Naples Holiday Shootout, E-Town was hands down 1 of the top 3 teams in the Tourney! Despite having to work on improving their interior defense and the Guards lowering a high TO ratio, this team is very composed! Very gutsy win in their last showing against Homewood-Flossmoor (IL) battling from a 13 point halftime deficit to pull out the win in double OT. These girls are definitely poised for a dominant State Tourney run!
  8. E-town beat Butler w/o Cleaver on the floor this past Saturday. MaxPreps has E-town as the #8 team in the nation.
  9. Agreed......but I would put some stock in what ESPN says, LOL!
  10. Rick Bolus has her as the #1 player in the state in his recent Prep Hoops, January Edition Girls Bball rankings. ESPN has her ranked as the #19 Sophomore in the nation.
  11. Erin Boley (Sophomore!). Get's Rebounds but needs to improve on Defense.....hands down is the most talented offensive machine in the State! Already has a plethora of offers from the top ranked colleges in the nation, including a full ride offer to Uconn! Geno personally attended one of their practices.
  12. Still don't think Anderson should be over E-town......they beat Anderson by 10. At the time of this post, E-town had only 1 loss state side, which they turned around 2 weeks later and beat the same team by 19! At the moment, E-town has 2 losses, but I still don't see Anderson on top.
  13. ...Sad that the best player in the State is not on the list........underclassmen.
  14. ....Not really sure why E-town would drop to #3. They handled Anderson by 10 and have only 2 losses State side, in which, they avenged a loss from Mercy 2 weeks later with a 19 point win. Rankings are what they are, just don't understand what people go off of sometimes. Guess that's why you see teams ranked at different spots in each poll around the state! Regardless, whoever takes the State Championship will more than likely be one of the teams that were involved in the RBC Classic in Lexington.......best tourney competition in the state every year! Sad that Anderson and SK have to go through each other to get there though!!
