If not for Highlands being in the way every year I think JC could have had 4 championships in recent years. But aiming at Highlands every year is making us a better program. Ithink JC will give Highlands it's best compitition this year and who knows it just might be the year. And I think HHS has been in a league of it's own for many years.One thing for sure if you want to be the best you have to beat the best and there is no other way.:thumb:

Jim Matney was my sons coach and as for me also he is a players coach. He was always good to his boys .And what I saw every day at practice and away from school ,he was always there for them. Thats why these kids want to play for him. And if I had another son I would make sure he played for him at any school he may be.

Other than team stat's how many records have been set against good teams, and how many against weak ones. The way I see it if I were a coach I would be mad at my self instead of being mad at another coach for wanting to help a kid.

:taz:JC played very aggressive and put the punishment to HC wich caused a lot of the fumbles and mistakes. I love to watch this team play, they are well rounded with speed,size and play with Dick Butcis attitude. Go Eagles

HC has a good team this year ,but I dont think they can overcome the Eagles at home .

Should be a good game Eagles look strong defensively and have good balance this year

JC. Linemen did a great job again. The defense looked good tonight because they almost scored as much as the offense. Also congradulations to Tyler on his kicking.
