I think once the $3-4 million start up cost was mentioned, it disappeared faster than the Reds playoff hopes in August

Police should not have to answer calls involving animals unless they are vicious and in the act of attacking or preparing to attack. Police are not trained for these type of calls and shouldn't have to answer them. Common sense shuld have prevailed on the part of the officer, but still....

If my toilet bowl loss knocks me out of the league, I'd like to reapply. I think that's my first toilet bowl appearance for my charter franchise.
As always Godot, great job.

UHA had no answer for Ksuan Casey (25 points/20 rebounds). They were up three when he fouled out with a minute to go.
Madisonville was 16/30 at the free throw line, including 5/12 in the fourth quarter.

Instead of an asterisk, does the Toilet Bowl winner get a plunger next to their name?

Todd County is not a bad team. But UHA hit 16 three-pointers and committed just two turnovers.
Mississippi State baseball commit Drew McGowan had 24 for UHA. Xavier signee Kyky Tandy added 23 points.

Caldwell County is missing not having Jameer Riley on the inside. They miss his physicality inside.
UHA is better than last year, and that's scary. But they still have lapses where certian players try to "get theirs" when they get a lead, and that leads to lulls.
Hoptown can be a really good team come March. So can Madisonville. They are the two teams most likely to beat UHA in both the regular season and postseason.

Jaron Brown had 18 points today.
Jared Cook had 16 points today.
Lamar Jackson had 18 points.
Austin Hooper had 10 points.
Sebastian Janikowski had 8 points.
All were taken in the final round of the National Conference Draft.

If my team has proved anything this year is that the projections are extremely optimistic.
I can't rememeber the last time the War Hogs were in the Toilet Bowl, if ever. I'm usually the one greeting people at the door of No Man's Land along with Jeff Fisher

Get Up and Boogie by the Silver Connection. That's right.

Good stuff.
Rumor has it Dunford is not playing for Union this year, which drops them a place or two.
Caldwell County could be the X-factor with Boyd. Like the 8th District, a really good 7th District team will not make it to the region.
Former Falcon Robbie Townsend is the new coach at Fort Campbell. If Jorden Clark is back, he is one of the most underrated players in the region.

I am paying the price for a bad and unlucky draft. Sometimes the players you take a chance on surprise you and sometimes they tank. I think every single pick has tanked for me with the exception of my kicker. Even Kelly Stafford's husband, the face of the War Hogs franchise for the past six seasons, has had an off season. Just one of those years in Possum Trot....

Should be interesting. McLean averages 48 rushes a game. Ballard 40 pass attempts per game.
McLean should have no trouble winning their first playoff game since 1993

Union County will get LaRue. Union has made a change and quarterback and stiffened their defense some

Good stuff.
The cross-bracketing that takes effect next year starts a four-year cycle of some whacked out matchups, including some 200+ mile first round games.

Will mark 17 years later this week.
Came across the site while entertaining my night owl babies. They are freshmen in college playing baseball now. I still wear my BGP gear and came across an old Snappy buck last month in an old folder.
Kudos to anyone on the old-timer's list that is still a regular. My time on here has decreased as time spent chasing my kids around to their sporting events increased.
It's still a grand ole place.

I disagree. I think it will be a 2-3 TD win for Mayfield, much like what South Warren did to the Aces last week.I think the Mayfield Catholic game will be closer than you give them credit. As much as I don't think Catholic will lose by that much, I believe Mayfield will pull away in the end. I don't know that Catholic has the personnel to handle too many blows and I believe Mayfield will hit them with several. I will say this from seeing it before; if Catholic is allowed to hang around for awhile they become more dangerous. With the game being at Catholic's house this year, come the fourth quarter, they might just be there, hanging around. -
Given the season UK is having, keeping Wandale in state was a must for Stoops and UK. You can't claim to be a top 10 program and lose the best players in your home state to other schools. This is a great get. Maybe it will turn the tide of in-state recruiting for UK.

It's been 43 years since a small school won the boys' state soccer title (KCD in 1975).
It's been 20 years since a small school played in the championship.
It's time to classify soccer folks.
