  1. I wonder if it was a change-up... Shelby is typically attacking the ball and her timing is usually her issue, too fast to the ball and this picture is one of those two issues. Entire body timing too... to much to explain. Locked knee is just one of issues in her timing issue. Good stuff. Not 'baiting' the pitcher is an issue and when with us she is reminded what that means and how to execute it. Helps with the jamming issue which can be overcome with the proper technique as many know.
  2. agree on the state vs 'anything' travel ball and I'm a travel only coach. If Shelby or Lexi are in the running for state... we'll (other players on the team not still playing) surely come to watch if not playing. And heck, just may bring all to the State finals. I'd probably be there to support any of the players anyway, love to just watch them. We've won a National championship (regional) and no one knows and I'm not bragging. Just reinforcing that those that win state or even make it to the final four live in infamy due to HS ball... is what it is and I'm so ok with it! Good luck Lexi!!! Bring it home with Biz and teammates.
  3. great pic's. Cool shot seeing Shelby's bat "bowing" somewhat at contact. And I agree, pic three above is lop-sided size wise. Congrats to NDA and what a season for Highlands!
  4. Congrats Shelby! Way to do your thang!!
  5. Congrats Shelby!
  6. Nice job Lexi and Biz!!!
  7. Hope the big 13 gets better soon, glad she is out on someone else's schedule ;-)
  8. I've had the joy of coaching her for a couple years now, lots of fun to watch. A great student of the game Shelby is!
