10 Good
  1. Yeah I saw 8ths. Just wondering if there was a complete list for 10th.
  2. Hannah Wagner started the 1st inning for Bourbon. That inning was the best inning for Harrison. Plated 4 runs that inning.....bats were on fire for the gaps. Ariel Dailey came in for the rest of the game, Harrison still was able to make contact but not nearly as much as 1st inning. Bourbon fell behind and Harrison did a sound defensive job to keep Bourbon from rallying. Bourbon had numerous opportunities to catch up and go ahead in 4th, 6th and even the 7th but failed to execute.
  3. Congrats to Harrison.... They came in with a game plan and executed perfectly. Good Luck! To the Bourbon seniors, you did your best and had a great season....played competition that Bourbon had NEVER wanted on the schedule...Keep your heads up and begin building your career for those playig at the next level!!!
  4. Montgomery truly would have been more of a force had they not caught the injury bug in their pitchers. That hurt them the most....They can hit the crap out of the ball, just not enough defensive control over the game. Has anyone heard how Arrasmith doing and is she going to be able to be 100% by next year?
  5. Wow...that is interesting. Bourbons last appearance in 2012 was 2002. Hadn't won district since 1999 and have now went back 2 back.
  6. Hopefully neither one of us is keeping book. Im gonna make them look better and memyselfandi is gonna make look like they never get anything right!!:isurrender:
  7. All State is in 3 classes determined by the KHSAA Track and Field Alignment. Miss Softball, All State, and Coaching Staff of the Year are voted on by the KSCA members. Each member votes for his/her own class and may vote for the other 2 classes. These awards will be presented at the East West All Star Series at Ballard High School on Saturday, June 15 at approximately 12:30 pm or immediately following Game 2 (see East/West All Stars). The awards will be distributed to all those receipients that are in attendance. Here you go. So haven't been voted yet but soon... hope that makes it clear as mud! lol
  8. Not truly sure but I believe they come out after State Tournament play. Don't hold me to that because I could very well be wrong.
  9. Oh yeah...taking nothing away from GRC. They are an explosive team and not to be taken lightly.
  10. They WILL be a force to reckon with in the near future.....enjoy watching them play!
  11. Grounders throug 3rd were solid hits, not errors. That's my point, they get used as an excuse. I understand that you have to play error free ball to win games but there wasn't that many"errors". "memyselfandi makes great points. I wasn't at the game, but if you make that many mistakes, which appears to be all errors, it is hard to beat anyone, and from the looks of it they were mostly routine plays. " I was at the game jimmy, and i can tell you that a hard hit ball past a player that didn't react fast enough or even had enogh time to react is not an error. 2 missed grounders at short is not an error, that description implies that the SS could not get to them is not an error. 2 bad throws at second is borderline. 1 throw wa mid collision and was not fully seated in her glove to make pay. Really ont know te 2nd throw. If we are going that far, is theplay at home wen the catcher dropped the ball during sliding collision at plate an error? The word error is thrown around too freely to justify the situation. I'm done.... no more from me. Bourbon played hard and brought it, they play Harrison Co. tomorrow=that's all that matters now.
  12. My comment is simple. There is always an excuse....we made too many errors. That usually causes point totals to go up, however, Bourbon had very few unearned runs tonight and yes they did capitalized on bad decisions that were made.....not errors. Campbell didn't have that many errors, they portrays the win by Bourbon as not as note worthy because Campbell made so many mistakes. The score would only be adjusted by maybe a run or 2 from true "pure" errors. That is what is meant by my comment.
