The Wolverines make the trip to Irvine from Frankfort on Friday to kick off the season against the Engineers. Estill defeated Western Hills 21-10 last season in Frankfort. Can the Engineers repeat that same victory or will the Wolverines derail the Engineers?

June Buchanan School Names Landon Napier Head Boys Basketball Coach The June Buchanan School is excited to announce Landon Napier as the new Head Boys Basketball Coach. A native of Ravenna, Kentucky, Napier attended both Estill County High School and Perry County Central High School, where he graduated. He is currently a senior at Alice Lloyd College, majoring in Communications with a minor in Christian Studies. Napier has been a four-year member of the Alice Lloyd College men’s basketball team, playing shooting guard. His experience on the court and passion for mentoring young athletes make him a great addition to the Crusader family. “I am thankful for the opportunity to coach at June Buchanan School. Former Powell Pirate and Bourbon head coach, Allen Martin has accepted the head coaching position at Estill County.

Have heard that Allen Martin has accepted the position but not been able to confirm.

I've heard Helton has withdrew his name due to no teaches or admin jobs. I've heard several new candidates but no names. Also heard that Martin from Bourbon County a lot but no jobs available that he can teach. Also heard that Derrick Robinson wants it and their is a job open that he teaches. Supposedly doing zoom interviews this week or next!

Just got word, it's back open. Supposedly took an administrative position in Somerset.
