    I would agree with you. It's very hard for the pre-season favorite to win coach of the year. Last year, Walton-Verona won the Class A Region, Class A State and won the 8th Region but Mark Clinkenbeard did not win the coach of the year. I would say that he should have won coach of the year however, some would say the they just met expectations. Ditto with Weakside, good reasoning.
