Any Scores and Play By Play?

Anyone know the final on the St. Henry/Highlands Freshman game?

Unfortunately, some hitters that I've seen were living off of the cheap hits. The sweet spot seems to be much smaller leaving less room for error, less forgiving overall. Line drives have turned into weak ground balls. Deep fly balls have turned into pop-ups. Yes, those that can truly hit wil hit but those that were relying on that extra pop will live in the world of ground balls to short.

We will now be able to identify the good hitters vs those that let the bat hit for them.

Any input on schools like Boone County and Ryle? Do they carry younger players on their Freshman teams or are they 100% Freshman?

That's a great question. Freshman teams like St. Henry fielded primarily 8th graders last year. Head coaching changes may shake rosters up a bit as well.

Which Freshman Teams and/or Players will surprise us in 2012? Any sleepers?
