Holy Cross contnues to play impressive baseball. Finishes the week with its third impressive win 12 to 3 over Conner. senior Tyler Johnson threw six strong innings. Indans 3, 4, 5 hitters went 9 for 12 with 10 RBI and 2 HRs, 2 2B. (Ritter 4-5, 2 HR ,6 RBI, Callery 3 for 4, 2 RBI, Tiberi 2 for 3, 2 RBI, 2 BB) Move to 16 -4 on the year.

Senior Nick Jehn threw a complete game 4 hitter. Holy Cross scored 2 in the top of the 7th. Holy Cross played solid D. Getting great piching and timely hitting!

Tiberi was the MVP of the World Series. He leads HC in every hitting category and isn't to bad on the mound.

Great ball game! It did go 9 innings. Pitchers all threw well, battled with runners in scoring position all night. One of the best high school games I have seen.

Holy Cross is 1-0 in seed play. Beat Holmes 13-0 last Friday!

Ritter started, 2 inn no runs. Jehn 1 inn no runs, Broering 1 plus 6 runs. Fuller 3 inn no runs. NCC threw three kids, started a senior Ryan (?), Brad Gray and not sure of the 3rd.

Down at Meiken Field we had a Business Man Special that saw the Holy Cross Indians defeat New Cath 7 to 6. Indians had several big at bats that scored 3 runs late. HC scored 3 in the first. NCC put a 4 spot up in the 4th to take the lead. HC scored 2 in the 5th with a 2 out single to take the lead at 6 to 4. NCC scored 2 unearned runs to tie it up in the 6th. HC answered the bell by scoring a run on a sac fly in the bottom of the 6th. NCC went down quietly in the 7th. Good win for the Indians!

Holy Cross beat a pretty solid Lloyd team 10 to 0. Senior Tyler Johnson threw for the Indians. Hit the ball well and played very good D.

Holy Cross beat up on a pretty weak Highlands team 11 to 1. They pounded out 13 hits tonight in 5 innings.

Holy Cross pounds out at least 16 hits in a 15 to 6 win. Travis Norton started gave up 9. Ritter threw for Holy Cross.

It was not a seed game.

Holy Cross defeated Conner 8 to 4 in 9 innings. Big win for the Indians.

Holy Cross defeated Scott 8 to 7 at Meiken Field.

Holy Cross led the entire game except for the last 18 seconds. The scored on a nice inbound play with 1.8 seconds left. HC plays four Jrs and a soph, Thompson, Fortner, Schuler and Waker are the Jrs and Tiberi is the Soph. Beal is a Frosh and he sees a lot of time and Gabbard is the 7th off the bench. Tiberi and Fortner are the leading scorers, Tiberi had 14 against Conner and HCC the last 2 days. HC is not big, but are very athletic. Press like the Varsity. Thompson spells Avery about 5 minutes agame at the Varsity level. HC started the year 0-6since that time they are 7-2.
