Colorado State 67 Virginia 42 (NCAA First Four)
hrcarrier replied to 16thBBall Fan's topic in College Basketball
Virginia was one of those teams that the selection committee said to themselves that someone had to be selected. It’s even more crazy to think that Louisville lost to them as bad as they did in both games, which anyone following knows why. Either way, Colorado State winning shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone. -
Boone County Hires Dan Court as next Head Coach
hrcarrier replied to Hydration-coach83's topic in KY Football (High School)
I agree. I believe that Boone County got it right with hiring him. Congratulations. -
The women’s tournament should be very good.

I agree overall/

I’ve been waiting for my Cardinals to be selected, maybe next year lol.

North Carolina State 84 North Carolina 76 (ACC Championship)
hrcarrier replied to 16thBBall Fan's topic in College Basketball
I was happy that NC State won. On another note, the ACC has weakened mightily as a conference. How the times have changed. -
Final. I believe that the Huskies are the next team to repeat as national champions since Florida did it. Someone else might be able to do it but UConn is looking very good right now.

Duquesne 65 Dayton 57 (Atlantic 10 Quarterfinals)
hrcarrier replied to Randy Parker's topic in College Basketball
Duquesne winning this one didn’t surprise me. It is crazy that the top four seeds of the Atlantic 10 all lost. -
Good win for UC last night. I expected Kansas to be more competitive, even with their players out that didn’t play. If UC beats Baylor, I think their chances of making the tournament substantially increase. Either way, impressive win for the Bearcats last night.

I agree. The next coach is clearly going to need to be more proven and experienced.
-
That’s about all he’s basically done.
-
I agree, that’s the worst thing about it.

The last game I watched was against Virginia in January. This is the longest I ever spent not watching Louisville basketball and don’t regret it. I still look forward to watching the rest of the conference tournaments that I do and the NCAA tournament. Still fun to watch them.

I’m glad it’s finally over, not that I’ve watched any time recently.

Chip Kelly to Ohio State as Offensive Coordinator
hrcarrier replied to sportsfan41's topic in College Football
It could easily be both. I haven’t considered UCLA a very good place for football for quite a while now. -
Chiefs 25 49ers 22 (OT) Super Bowl LVIII
hrcarrier replied to 16thBBall Fan's topic in National Football League (NFL)
The two differences in this game was Patrick Mahomes and San Francisco not getting any points on their interception and fumble. Missing the extra point didn’t help San Francisco either. Exciting game as it went on though. -
I did not watch but I’m glad that they at least won consecutive games.
-
Nice win for UC.

49ers vs. Chiefs (Super Bowl LVIII)

My thoughts on this game are the same with everything you said. And I totally agree about San Francisco having the best overall team and Kansas City having the best player. -
49ers 34 Lions 31 (NFC Championship)

Which he clearly has. I think a lot of quarterbacks would do well with the rest on that offense. -

If not for two really bad fourth down attempts, Detroit very well could have won. The game could have been tied with the second one and Detroit could have been back up three possessions the first one. I do like Dan Campbell, but he clearly cost them tonight’s game. -
I do like Dan Campbell, but what the hell is he doing??? He went for it and could have kicked a field goal to take the game back to three possessions earlier. Now he does it again and doesn’t at least attempt tying the game. As disastrous as the third quarter was, Detroit can officially blame Campbell if they end up losing.
