I see her as the Tea Partier-in-Chief, yes. But I recognize there are Tea Partiers that aren't huge supporters

I think it's a lot of it, yeah. There are a lot of people on board with the Tea Party movement and if it's been enough to win elections around the country, I don't know why they couldn't win a national election.

Depends on many other factors than the Republican candidate. Obama is no Clinton and if the economy doesn't pick up any candidate will have a chance to win. Still, I can't see Palin ever having a chance at the nomination.

While you are quite right the "conservatives" under Bush spent way too much, it is small compared to what Obama is blowing.

But you have to admit the circumstances are quite different.

That would be a heck of a commute from Boston College to Ft. Worth.

Replace Palin with Obama and reverse democrat and republican in you post and it makes just as much sense.

Most of his "issues" on his website are just Republican talking points. Which makes sense if you're trying to appeal to moderates.

I didn't know about Paul's desire to do away with the Dept. of Education, so I went to his website to look for his stance. Low and behold- no mention of it on his site. Nor any mention of cutting farming subsidies.

I agree but the Dems had how long to complain about him prior to election day and only after he won have they raised a concern. That to me, is stranger that anything noted on this thread about the gentlemen!

Right, but then that's the problem with being allowed to vote in the other guy's primary- you can pick the weakest candidate to give your party a better shot. Just so many things wrong with this situation all the way around.
