  1. Avery Wood is the QB at Campbell County. You will hear great things about him this year.
  2. Congrats to Tyler. He is a great football player but more importantly a great individual. He worked very hard this past year to become an outstanding qb. His passing abilities got better every week. From what I understand he will be playing qb. Best of luck to Tyler.
  3. Commander 10. There is no way we overlooked HHS. We all knew better. We were a really good passing team with exceptional receivers and lineman. The playing conditions is what made the difference, .
  4. Mud is the great equalizer. Many great teams have lost to much lesser teams because of it. I have always hated coaching in it because the best team does has a disadvantage, especially if you have a good passing game and really quick players. I love the turf.
  5. My worst loss was when Cov Cath came to Highlands and beat us in the mud. We had a nice lead at halftime and let them come back and beat us....again in the mud. We never should have lost that one. They went on and won STATE.
  6. Thanks Flotsam and mcpapa. Long - time listener, second - time caller. Been on for a couple of years. I am a coach. Enjoy reading the posts. As a coach, that's probably the second worst loss ever for me. I really believe we would have beaten them on a dry field.
  7. Adam McCormick was a real stud at qb. He was the real deal. He could not only throw the ball with the best of them but could also run. The rain definately hurt us that day. It is always the great equalizer. We did not overlook HHS - we knew better. Adam was being recruited by a few Div. I schools. UC and Miami were interested in him. He visited Miami first. UC told him he should visit them first. He tiold them he would be there the following week. Miami offered him a full ride during his visit but he told them he had one more place to visit the following week. They said they could not guarantee the offer would still be there. The following week, UC pulled their scholarship. He called Miami to tell them he would sign with them, but they gave the scholarship to someone else after Adam said he needed another week. He ended up walking on at Morehead, but I don't know if he stayed.
