One of my favorite things to do on weekends set on back deck in the morning drink my coffee and watch the birds come and go at feeder.

Met a friend for a beer who I haven’t seen in 30yrs he started talking about his son playing baseball at Conner HS freshman at the time they had a great season won a lot after that year most never played again never got any playing time one young man pitched a shutout he never pitch another game. I just laughed, I always thought it was funny when a parent would say I wish we would have sent him/her to another school I would think to myself yeah it would be different there lol.

We all know (later in life) there are a ton of factors that go into Coaching/playing HS sports I’ve had my share of talks with coaches good/bad but I like things to be out on the table. HS sports should just be thought of as good barroom conversation for them later in life.

IMO Cousins comes at to high of a price tag sure they have the money but they need more than just an over paid QB. Should go after McCarron type QB and still draft QB to develop (develop something they use to do). It will be interesting to see what develops out this off season a lot of QB jockeying going down.

My nephew attends CCMS and he is bullied at school and now starting on social media going on 2yrs (father has been to school couple of times) this year he was physical assaulted (pushing). They changed his class times to separate the two one could say my nephew makes it easy but it really doesn’t matter how he is or isn’t it shouldn’t be happening but it does.

Collateral Beauty, really liked this movie nice plot good characters I thought it was one of Will Smith’s best performance. It kind of hit home losing my young nephew and seeing what my BIL & SIL are going through we are neighbors.

When the Brown’s first signed Hawkins I really liked the signing but he never really made a big impact he had games here and there.

Also not hard when you are a high D1 talent.

Went to game last night with my father–in-law he commented that he saw the young man play last year and he didn’t shoot the three very well. Last night correct me if I’m wrong but he missed all the 3’s he took. He has game and to me he has really good hands and a nice soft touch on his shots in close. He’s young and has two more years to develop and work on his outside shot and I also think he has the right Coaches working with him to help get to the next level.
