Anytime you have a great player, there will be rumors about him goning somewhere else. I don't think Watts is goning anywhere. He loves it in McCreary Co. McCreary Co. has been good to Watts and he has been good for McCreary Co.:banana:

I agree, McCreary will be much better this year. The Coaching Staff will be basicaly the same. The Players have worked hard and continue to work hard. McCreary has 3 players drawing a lot of attention from College recruiters.The Raiders have about 20 kids that can play and not have much of a let down in talent.They have about 35 kids they can depend on being there and goning to work when it is time to work. Watts and Roark will be one of the best QB/TB combinations in the State. Vince Staten 6'3" 290, Pat Perryman 6'5" 240, Rick Tripplett 6' 220, Terrance Snyder 6' 245, James Ball 6' 1" 185 and Steve Snead 6' 200 should be a solid Line. McCreary will be blessed with 3 good TE's. Cody Smith 6'3" 225 and Zack Ridner 6' 190 both started last year, add FR. Tyson Williams 6'4" 230 and there is a lot of talent there. Dustin Goins and Jason Perry return at WR. I think you can see why Fans are excited in Raider Land. GO RAIDERS!!!!!

Breathitt will be very good. Holcomb does a good job. Surely they have someone to take over the Def. and keep it at the leval it needs to be to make it back to the Finals. I like the QB/RB combination Mike has, one of the best in Eastern Ky. ,only rival I know could be Watts and Roark at McCreary Central. Good Luck Bobcats.:dancingpa

Watts can take his pick. I think he told the Coaching Staff he wants to play College Football. Maybe at UK. He has been invited to the Nike eliet camp in Champaign Ill. and to the Schuman's National Underclassman top 100 Combine in Atlanta Ga. Good luck to Mr. Watts.

1 family moved, 2 others didn't. So I guess they were McCreary kids. In fact one is back in school at McCreary.

I think McCreary Central will be greatly improved. They have 20 kids back that started at least one game last year. The Weight Room work has been great, you can look at the kids and see the improvement. McCreary has 3 kids that are being looked at by several Colleges. They have a good Fr. class coming in, Led by Tyson Williams 6' 4" 235 TE,who could be a special player. They have another 10 to 12 kids that are better than average players. Could be a special Year if they can stay healthy.

I think the Phillips kid is now in school at McCreary. So I guess it all depends on who you talk to.

Have talked to some Football Supporters in Clay Co. They're glad he is gone. Just said no tears shed when he moved on.

In Kentucky it usually is the Basketball Coach who draws the Line. They think the only Sport is Basketball.

From what I've been told, McCreary Central offered W'burg week 0 and they declined. I don't think it's a matter of using W'burg for any kind of measuring stick. I think the reason is the schools are 20 miles apart, good gate ,good competitive game. Don't think there is a lot of LOVE for each other, could have something to do with W'burg, having a couple McCreary kids starting for them the last 4 years.

Then this is a Board Policy, because there is no State Requirement saying that a Coaching Job has to be posted.

You are so right. The Wt. program the toughness there is nothing that can replace this. Hope McCreary Centrals Basketball Coach is reading this. Southwestern must get this worked out now or both programs will suffer.

They shouldn't have to choose. Super. needs to do his Job and get this worked out now. Any Coach that tells a kid he don't need to play another sport should be showed the Road. They don't care about the Kids if the tell them this and make the choose between the two.
