  1. Five-star power forward PJ Washington announced his commitment to the Wildcats on Thursday evening, revealing his choice during ESPNU’s signing day special. Earlier in the day, five-star center Nick Richards became UK’s first commitment for 2017.

Washington — a 6-foot-8, 235-pound power forward — recently narrowed his list to UK, North Carolina and UNLV, but the Wildcats had been considered the heavy favorite for the past few weeks.

Scout.com ranks him as the No. 14 player in the 2017 class.

  2. Is there a box score for this game anywhere? I want to see what the Jessamine County kids did for Asbury.

UK should kick in another 30K to Asbury for running up the score on them. They almost beat them by 100 points. And people say Coach K has no class.

Everybody on the bench played at least 7 minutes and none played over 19, how is that classless? Should he tell them to not dunk if they have a wide open one?

  3. You have Bruce Coslet's phone number on speed dial? We're lucky to have Lewis and should be grateful that were on the uptick instead of the cellar.

A lot of sports fans are satisfied with mediocrity! Cincinnati is slowly becoming a laughing stock of the league AGAIN, with Burfict's antics and Pacman following his lead. Time to clean house of the riff raff and it starts with Marvin.

  4. Until the Bengals clean house of the hot heads other teams will take advantage of their stupidity. They need to cut bait on Jones and Burfict sooner rather than later. The league has it out for this franchise because of these clowns and the time is way over due to get rid of Marvin and bring a coach in that won't tolerate that kind of behavior.

  5. Two things as great as Dalton has been today. That was a horrible audible on third down, to throw a fade when your on the half yard line.

Also Bernard has been the more effective runner. However the one thing Hill has been good every season is scoring tds. Bad coaching.

Why does he have that option? He should run the play they call.

  6. They were showing on NBC Sunday Night Football how they were lined up and attacked worried about Zak's running. When they keyed on Elliott in the red zone, Zak took it outside. Just flat out was better prepared than the Bengals.

Game planning has been awful the last few weeks.

    Who's Zak?

  7. Game times not being determined before the season would help IMO. As it stands, you could get a prime time game with two teams that haven't won a game. It's not likely, but the possibility is there.

As far as males 18-34, I'd say soccer has a lot to do with that. More and more kids have been playing soccer (or sports other than football) and I'd say that trend is likely to continue.

Please tell me that we won't start getting an oversturation of soccer! Nothing like watching a game end up 0-0. Can't stand watching soccer, if the grandkids didn't play it I would never watch it.

  8. That pic has been emblazoned in my memory for a long time. I do believe it was even put in the case with the trophy for a while. There's another pic of this that even shows a referee looking straight up at the basket and as I remember, he swallowed his whistle. I remember when Holmes faithful were walking in to get to their seats before the game started, I heard shouts of "go back to Ohio!"

    EZ, were you there?

I was indeed and can still see the winning shot in overtime bounce on the rim and drop through.
