Hats off to Conner. They beat a a very mature team in CCH. Conner will continue to improve through the season and into the next couple of years. They only have two seniors and alot of sophmores contributing in great amounts.

If CCH losoes to Conner, maybe CCH isn't as good as everyone thought they were.

Conner Starts: Aaron Stephens - 6'1" JR Chris Lang - 6'1" SR Demetrius Avery - 6'4" JR Jeremy Broyles - 6'4" SR Tyler Hodges - 6'7" SO Tyler Brake did not come out this year. Conner will go deep into their bench, but they lack varsity experience and are down one of their best guards. This will be a good test for Coach Hicks.

I don't know what qualifies a "stud" but these were nice comments to receive in a game against the regions #2 or #3 team. In addition to putting up 13 points. IMO "Stud"

Trammel did not play. He would have been a large contributer, but I am not sure it would have changed the outcome.

Stauffer is a stud. He can score and passes extremely well for a big man.

Pike was not much of a factor at all. I think he may have had 2 points and 3 or 4 fouls. The only weapon Dixie had was Pompilio who put up 18.

I agree. I think Conner wins. Avery is good, but I think the box score will be full from Hodges and Lang.

Conner has 6'7" sophmore with a 7' wingspan.

I spoke to a friend who follwos Conner and I was told that Brake has not been involved with basketball at all and will likely not play. No reason why. He did say Conner may be starting a couple sophmores this season.

I have heard Brake is not playing for Conner. Is Nichols playing at Ryle?

A well ran zone allows a team to trap certain areas of the floor without always giving up an easy basket. If utilized corectly, a zone will demand just as much hustle as a man defense. I agree with Waterboy. If you are playing both defenses corectly, it will be hard to distinguish between the two. I firmly believe that you need to be able utilize either type of defense in your game plan.

I personally prefer a man defense, but there are times when a zone can be usefull. IMO you do what it takes to to be successful.

If Boone and Connor combined it would make a very competitive team. IMO they could compete with the best in the state. It would just make Boone that much deeper and have alot more talent coming up.

What will Cooper's draw do to programs like Conner and Ryle?
