  1. Two more days and one walk through away from this game. I hope the Raiders have had a good week of practice and worked out the kinks and tightened up the fundamentals and are ready to take care of business. All that's left is a good walk through and a bus ride before the Raiders try to work out their 1st win of 2011. I know you guys can do it. Now, pack your lunch and go to work and get the job done!

  2. (Sorry hit the wrong button) the only JV game he play that year it was against Pulaski and McCreary lost the game. The only reason he played that game was to start making the transition from TE to TB. Watts to the best of my knowledge never played a JV game and I know he didn't from his sophomore year up, not 100% sure about his freshman year. Please don't let personal feelings allow untrue posts! It's not fair to everyone involved especially the kids who worked hard for their accomplishments!

  3. Coach Gay played everyone he could on the Jv team t

o get a win. Aaron and Zack played some Jv as a Jr. Coach didn't worry about Fr and soph. Getting experience.

Well that's just not true, I know for a fact for two years everyone that came to practice and didn't play on Friday nights got JV playing time just to make sure everyone got playing experience and the JV coach got hammered by the parents for putting playing everyone over winning close games. 2 years ago there were 3 Jr's that played varsity that also played some JV and they were kids that started defense but needed expensive on the O line the rest were freshmen and sophomores and the best freshman Tyson Williams didn't play JV at all. As for Roark and Watts the last time Roark played JV was One game his sophmore year which was the the last JV game of the year and the only one he

  4. Blazer with no disrespect If McCreary wins 3 or 4 games this year it will be something they can build on and with that it will be a successful season. Winning one district game and making it back to the playoffs would be icing on the cake. Right now beating Pineville is huge for McCreary and could be the confidence they need to have a successful season and right now the Raiders need to gain confidence and keep keep improving their fundamentals and I support them in their quest and I have confidence they can get the job done! Go get'em guys!

  5. Heartbreaker I am sure your opinion of an evenly matched game that you were not at is more accurate than mine. LoL! There is no doubt that I am biased towards McCreary as I teach those kids and have coached mist of them in football and do coach many of them in wrestling but I still try to give my best opinion. The Raiders have some great athletes and just need to keep working on fundamentals and the rest will take care of itself! Go Raiders!

  6. Well I will say that my game prediction was definately wrong but HB no one said the Raiders WOULD win 8 games it was said that there was 8 winnable games and even though the Raiders lost this game it was a winnable game.

Now to it, the Raiders played better defense then I thought they would only giving up 1 TD via a pass play in the 1st half and pretty much shutting Taylor Co down the rest of the 1st half. However, I was shocked at the lack of offense as the Raiders didn't seem to have any continuity so they couldn't sustain a drive. The Raiders O-line played pretty good but all night the offense seemed to be just one step behind Taylors defense. In the 2nd half Taylor had two big plays and that was about it. The two teams seemed to be evenly matched with Taylor making the big plays. I was proud of the Raider players as they played hard, played with pride and they never gave up. Keep working hard guys and keep listening to your coaches and it will all come together!

  7. Really, Taylor won one game last year and I don't think Knott won any both I think are very winnable games, matter a fact I think they are should win games. Also McCreay has split with Pineville the last 2 years which makes it a winnable game IMO. I also think they match up well with Casey Co Which gives them a shot to make the playoffs. Wayne and North Laurel are much tougher but depending on how things go are possibles. My prediction is at least a 5-5 season and a trip to the playoffs!

  8. We will beat Casey and on to the playoffs. JMO

I can agree with that IMO too but I think Casey Co is better than at least 4 other teams on the Raiders schedule so the Raiders going 5-5 and a trip back to the playoffs will be a successful season and a step in the right direction for the program. But just beating Casey Co only would be just demoralizing for the program and besides that it wouldn't make much since with the schedule this year. JMO! I personally think the RaIders will be 6-4 and return to the playoffs but I still think there are 8 winnable games on their schedule. Go get'em Raiders!
