  1. 2001 33-12 Casey

    2002 41-18 Casey

    2003 42-20 Casey

    2004 54-8 Casey

    2011 41-14 Casey

Average Score last five meetings Casey 42, McCreary 14.

    Well let's see,

2001 and 2002 Bozeman was coaching!

    2003 Hatcher was coaching!

    2004 Arthur was coaching.

    2006-2009 Gay was coaching. Hmm!

Maybe Banker was talking about corn-hole. LoL! Did you take some beatings during those years playing corn-hole Cellking! LoL!

Just another example of The Banker not knowing what he is talking about. You have to give accurate details to ever be taken serious!

Go Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!

  2. They were 2 or 3 on here saying the raiders could win 7

or 8 games. Those numbers were only to pressure on smith and the players. Why does 2 or 3 on here worry so much about mccreary football. Smith has the support of the administration and parents. Beat Casey and all the other games are forgotten.

Banker you talk about pressure, McCreary plays Casey this week and you have just made this the biggest game of the year. Win and all is forgotten I sure hope they get it done!

  3. They were 2 or 3 on here saying the raiders could win 7

or 8 games. Those numbers were

only to pressure on smith and the

players. Why does 2 or 3 on here

    worry so much about mccreary

football. Smith has the support of

    the administration and parents.

Beat Casey and all the other games

    are forgotten.

I am guessing that you are counting me as one of those 2 or 3 you are talking about? If so I can tell you that I have done nothing but support coach smith and his staff and until thus year I have coached football in McCreary Co since the late 80's and have busted my but to help build a solid football program and have never nor will I ever do anything to hurt the program. In fact I have a 7th grade son who plays and only want the program to be it's best for him. I hate when people speak about things they know nothing about. I have never said anything about who does or doesn't support anything all I know is I support the program and I especially support the kids and anything I have ever said was to let them know I have confidence in them and that they can get the job done!

  4. Ok guys what do you fellows that are close to the program think needs to

be done to turn this around? Do you

throw your arms up and say lets get

this season over with or do you try to

salvage whats left? Will the Raiders

make the playoffs now? What needs

to change for them to win a few

    games and finish strong?

It's simple, you never give up you continue to work towards your next opponent. You watch film create the best game plan you can and then design your practices based on the game plan then you go out Friday and execute that game plan! There is no such thing as throwing your hands in the air. Take one week and one game at a time and give it 100% and that's the way it's done!

  5. I'm just poor. However, I prefer optimism and hope for the kids. Especially

    before the season even

    starts.

Me too cause all the money I have inherited = $00.00. LoL! I also agree that positive thinking is the only way to go at the beginning of every season if you truely support the kids! Go Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!

  6. I was at this game, the officials called over

60 yards of penalties against clay county in final 2 minutes to give Whitley the win. They flagge Whitley

for celebration after the field goal, a

call they made on clay 2 minutes

before, but then waived it off like it

    never happened.

That's funny that's the something the Leslie Co fans said about their loss to W-burg they all were saying the refs took the game from them and knowing that Ralph Woods and his crew was calling the game I would say they probably have a valid argument because Ralph and his crew are homers for the burg and always have been!

  7. Well HB I watched game film today on Leslie. I think they are an average team that has a couple pretty good athletes. With that being said my Raiders have improved each week and played a very good 1st half against a NL team who is much better and has more athletes than Leslie has. So, I will now make my prediction: McCreary will win this game by 1 score! Something like 30-24! Good luck Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!

  8. LoL, as always HB you crack me up. When I said there was 8 possible wins before the season started I was not wrong as a matter of fact I could have said there was 10 possible wins and still have been right. Now if I would have use the word probable then I would have been mistaken. As for the unsportsmanlike penalties NL started right at the end of the 1st quarter and never let up, they were continually hitting later well after the whistle but I blame the refs for not getting the game under control early because eventually the other team will start to retaliate and that's what happened as I too was at the game. McCreary had played 3 games prior to this one without an unsportsmanlike penalty and NL has a reputation of kids getting ejected..............I'm just saying! NL didn't have better athletes they just had the depth and that eventually took it's toll on McCreary. I am just glad we got out of that game without a brawl breaking out although i think we could have won the fight. LoL! Now it's time to move on and look towards next Friday. Go Raiders and Go Get'em Guys!

  9. Opening kick off was returned by the Raiders inside the 15 and the next play was taken to the 2. A couple of bad plays and the Raiders fail to come away with any points. NL scored twice making it 14-0 and then started racking up unsportsmenlike penalties for some very dirty play. But the Raiders were still playing hard and holding their own and finally hit pay dirt and it was 14-6. The Raiders got in the red zone once again but could not punch it in and then on the last play of the half NL scores making it 21-6 and that seemed to be a huge turning point in the game. NL came out of halftime like they were on a mission and the Raiders didn't have any answers. The Raiders had several players leave the game with injuries but the player hurting them the most was Arlis Dopel the starting TB who tried to go but left the game early with a stomach virus. Numbers was a huge factor or may I say the lack of numbers especially with the injuries. The Raiders proved in the 1st half that they can compete with a good team. I am proud of the Raiders especially for keeping their heads through all the late hits from NL who seemed they thought it necessary to play dirty all night it really took all respect away from their team! I think the Raiders. Grew up a bi tonight and the lessons learned tonight will help them against a good Leslie Co team next week. Keep up the hard work Raiders and go get'em guys!
