My obvious favorite is Darrell Carter Stadium in Tompkinsville. I have really enjoyed Mayfields stadium, Paducah-Tilhman has a very nice facility. Would like to get up east to watch a mountain team play.

I think top five are good...6-10 you can change any order and possibly look good..these teams have more to prove to warrant moving up any positions!

I'm going to save this thread and reflect back in late November...to see if the preseason tops are still playing!

Alls good...Monroe does not put scrimmages on score board. Only time. Rockcastle had good size and aggression. Those boys believe in the hype. It's good to see. I definitely want to keep up with those boys. They should have a pretty good season. It was a good three way scrimmage. A lot of good solid playing time for everyone. Good luck in the opening week and throughout the season...

I can honestly say Wayne gave Monroe a good thumping last year..all but four kids on both sides of the ball started in that game and remember it well. This game will get physical and IMO Monroe will win. Will it be a thumping...NO. But Wayne will know when they leave Darrell carter stadium Friday night that they started there season 0-1. Wayne is going to see a Much improved Monroe and the size of our prize winning bulls!!! Also Monroe has been a second half team for a while, if Wayne lets Monroe get out early it may be a long night for them. These young boys are seeking a destroying night...it's all they want this week, 1-0.

Monroe was 1-1 at end of ten plays. Then 2-1 at quarter... I'm not sure mnt ref and I were at the same scrimmage. If he is thinking of Jv scrimmage at start then he may be right instead of delusional!

Who wins?

Monroe is starting 8jr's, 1 sophomore, and two seniors on offense. Having four to five backs deep that are all multi-talented. Offense is stronger this year than last. Defense is looking the same, a little movement in lB core and secondary, which is definitely Monroe's weakness! Monroe has the addition of former player billy Joe Murphy. He is a four year sec player and a great addition to the coaching staff for Monroe's line. The buzz is great around Monroe but these boys a have lot to live up to. The expectation is really great for this team and so far they are living up to all of us. I know season has not started but time will tell....

Oh this is going to a very interesting season for some of us in SCKY!!! Keep it coming guys....I love the bantering between super fans...
