Dixie is not on a roll but they should easily handle Scott.
-
P-Burg will win easily. No contest in this one.
-
What has Lloyd shown for objective, non-Jugg fans to believe this will be close? I see a 3-5 TD spread depending on turnovers.
-
Ryle has blown leads against some good teams in the 4th quarter this year. Those leads were blown against good passing teams that hurt them with big pass plays. Boone is not a great passing team. They are a very good running team. If Ryle leads in the 4th quarter, they have an excellent opportunity to pull the upset. Those thinking it will be a 2-3 TD game do not understand the rivalry. It will be very, very close and could go either way. Ryle has played three tough non-district teams to prepare them for what they will see Friday night. Good luck to both teams.

Campbell cannot get a #1 seed. If Boone wins, they would get the tiebreaker and #2 seed because of the Mason win. If Ryle wins, they would get the #3 seed.
-
Campbell's D is good vs. the run. Thus, they keep Miles in check most of the night. Camels are better on D than SK and pass the ball better than SK. Edge - Camels. Homefield is the only advantage I see for SK but it did not help them much vs. Boone. Will be a close game that could go either way. I see the Camels by 4-7 points.
-
Looks on the surface like an easy Boone win. However, Ryle seems to play up to the competition. I believe it will be a very physical contest. Boone had superior skill players last year and both games were brawls that could have gone either way. The same thing will happen this year even though Boone does not have superior skill athletes this year. Boone has better line play than Ryle this year. I look for a game decided late in the 4th quarter. Boone is heavily favored going in to the game but a Ryle upset is not out of the question. This is the top NKY game this week.
-
Surely Ryle will be out for redemption this week after a poor overall performance vs. Conner. I look for a close game. Always rooting for our NKY squads. Go Raiders!
-
The Bengals are only a 10-game winning streak away from the playoffs!
-
This is Russell and SK where are you at.
I am in Northern Kentucky.
-
If SK has any chance to beat Campbell, they must come out with intensity and win this game. Momentum is important in football. SK has none right now.
-
Sounds like the old train wreck. Simpson is strong and can make big hits. I would think he's a good candidate for defensive backfield in college if he would rather play on that side of the ball.
-
I watched the game on DVR today and thought Conner looked like the better team.
Boone may be a little ahead of the pack but after that the other NKY 6A teams are all about equal.
I caught some of it and Ryle's play-calling was very poor and they looked terrible in the first half. It was surprising that Ryle actually led 14-3 early in the 4th quarter as Conner won the battle in the trenches all night. Ryle looked pretty quick at the beginning of the season vs. Highlands and very slow last night.
-
What happened on the play?
-
I don't want to throw any heavy stones but putting any other 6A team ahead of T or X this year shows a severe lack of knowledge and a serious flaw in the system.
Very True. X has to be consensus #1 at this point and Trinity an uncontested #2 by any objective and knowledgeable voter. They should probably leave the next 8 spaces blank and start at #11 for the third best team.
-
SK must have laid an egg tonight. Boone is good but a 35 point loss at SK? Where was the motivation to play the game? I have to question the coaching at SK when they were the preseason pick in NKY 6A and it looks like they would have to pull a major upset vs. Campbell to make the playoffs.
-
I couldn't believe the AP poll showed MC ahead of the Rocks. Must have been an inebriated writer from Richmond. Any questions answered about competition in 6A for the state crown except T and X. Maybe some day but I just don't see it this year.
-
Congrats to Conner for earning a playoff spot. Both teams played hard. The game backs up what everyone has been saying: NKY 6A is very even between the top 5 teams. It comes down to SK/Campbell game for the last playoff spot. Good luck to all teams. We'll have to keep improving greatly to get up to the top 2 level.
-
X would do well against anyone in the nation this year. They are that good. I could not see anyone blowing them out this year. With T being such a huge rivalry game and possible doubts in the X players' minds, the rematch vs. T will be as difficult to win as playing anyone in the nation, however. I'd be willing to say that the game will be close although X would have the capability to win big again. Congrats to X on their accomplishment so far this year!

I am not positive; however, Ryle visits Beechwood on Oct. 16. I would guess that the winner of that game will play Highlands. Opinions?
It seems that Beechwood is winning by big margins and is undefeated. Perhaps, they are the favorite. I would guess that the Dixie/Highlands winner will face the Beechwood/Ryle winner in the frosh championship. Good luck to all teams as they work to build success in the future for varsity teams.
-
Holmes seems to have problems with teams that can smash it down their throats. Dixie is not such a team so this game should be closer than expected. Dixie is down from last year and Holmes is better than last year IMO. Good luck to both teams.
-
I would say we shouldn't take this so seriously. He's probably a really good guy that loves the Camels and brings some entertainment to games there. The non-football stuff is probably not professional, but neither is high school football. It's for the kids and enjoyment so enjoy the PA dude!
-
Good job by X. I'm sure they are already plotting on how to take down the Rocks in the semis.
-
If SK beats Boone and loses to Campbell, SK would be out in a tiebreaker to Conner because both teams would be 2-3 in the district (assuming Ryle beats Conner) and Campbell would be 3-2. Boone and Ryle already have 3 district wins. Ironically, SK must beat Campbell to get into a tiebreaker they can win or beat both Boone and Campbell to assure a spot in the playoffs. So, SK's postseason hope is not over if they lose to Boone.

Only the Bellevue faithful can see anything other than a big win for Beechwood.
