The OVC is also supposed to have some kind of an announcement today about future scheduling and Nashville being more of a "destination". Whatever that is supposed to mean? 16 of the past 17 OVC tournaments have been in Nashville.

 

Lunardi was asked about Murray State and he said the only way the Racers get in is via the OVC tournament, despite potentially reaching 30 wins before the OVC championship. Does anyone know if a 30 win team has been left out of the NCAA tournament? I cannot disagree with him.

 

Murray State plays at Morehead State on Thursday and Eastern Kentucky on Saturday. It would not shock me to see them lose both games.

They each have two more games which could work the tie situation, also EIU with two more games could factor into a three way tie.

They are playing a limited OVC schedule at this time as they transition in to the OVC from D-II. While a member of the conference, they are not eligible for any postseason tournament nor do they play every team. westsider or Scribe may know when they officially start. Maybe next season.

After looking into it a little more, Bugatti is correct that SIU Edwardsville is in a transition period from Division II to Division I. According to their web site, they will be elgible to fully participate in NCAA Division I championship events begining the fall of 2012.

The game has been rescheduled I guess due to weather related issues. It is my understanding that it will be played tomorrow (Saturday) at MSU's Jayne Stadium at 2:00pm.

He has returned a kick off or punt for a touchdown in each of Rowan's four games this season and has returned both in the last two games.

I think Rowan takes this one if they reduce the turnovers.

I just got back both of Rowans games and don't have any stats yet. Madison Co. lead most of the first half, but Rowan pulled in front in the final minutes of the half. Rown came out in the second half and extented the lead up to about 15 pts. at one point.
