I am definitely not a fan of LexCath but I think they give CAL all they want. Almost a coin toss in my opinion. Team with the best secondary wins this game I think.

I was going to suggest releasing an episode of nothing but the flashback stories at the end of the season and you all beat me to it.

Quisenberry was about 70 % of Boyles offense vs Corbin. That is the key to beating Boyle is stopping Quisenberry which no has came close all year. Boyle has some good players but # 5 is the driving force. Without him Boyle is the team watching on Friday night.
Boyle has other weapons besides Quisenberry.

I can’t imagine a way a semi-final game against a 13-0 team could possibly be a trap game…
Way too much experience on the sideline and in the locker room for that to happen.

All 4 teams in the 4a semi's are undefeated.
Boyle County 13-0
Cov. Catholic 13-0
Franklin County 13-0
Paducah Tilghman 13-0
Wonder when that happened last?

Thank you Hearsay.

Does Franklin have seating on both sides?

I think CAL wins but would not want to play Central right now.

The principal above, Charlie Cox, played on 4 state title teams at Boyle County. I would think he would like to build something there.

I'll be honest, I've been to PT's stadium and I can't imagine it can hold anything close to 11K.

Are there even any highschool stadiums in Kentucky that could potential hold anywhere near that many people?
None that I know of.

Have no clue. I believe these 2 schools already hold the State 4A attendance record (6 classes era) and expect this to be bigger.
I think Boyle/ACS in 2010 was like 13000. This will not come anywhere close to that.

Coach Marksbury has done his usual excellent job at Spencer again this year, but it ends with a thud next Friday.

I think Male has more talent and I think they win.

Congrats to Ryle. They played really well. Hate to see the Chargers season end.

Current district alignments are only for 2 years this time.
-
Not sure the reason for switching district 4 and 5. Not usually like that.

I think what's hurting Bullit East in the polls is the lack of a signature win. Theyre best 2 wins are Fern Creek and Woodford. Ryles best 2 wins are both convincing wins over Cooper and Dixie Heights. Also if you look at their schedules. Male is the only impressive team that Bullit East played. On the other hand Ryle has played CovCath, Cooper, Highlands, Cal, and St. X. So they're coming into this game more battle tested. As much as I'd like to see BS get a rematch against Bullit East, I think Ryle will be the one making the trip to Lexington next Friday.
I get that. Ryle did play a tougher schedule. But Central would beat Woodford and Fern Creek. They played St.X tough and lost to CAL by 7 and lost to BE by 13. Should be a close game.

Surprised Bullitt East isn't garnering more votes.

9 times in 6 years?

So does Bullitt East.

Franklin Co. had a great season, but I think they lose to all three PT, CC and obviously Boyle. Play really good defense, has a nice run game with big #24 and QB but passing game very limited.
