  1. What was I wrong about? The original post said they had until 7 to make a decision to let him go or not. That wasn't true. He was claimed (happens all the time) and they had a 48 hour window to work a deal. They got a deal done.
  2. What I said is still true. I was laughing b/c There were people thinking he was gone just b/c he was claimed. I don't get what you think you caught me on???? These things do happen every year. A deal was worked out, ok. Like I said, never said her wasn't claimed.
  3. I didn't either. Can't say I agree with it. But I'm a realistic Reds fan unlike most others. If they got some stud prospects in return, ok.
  4. Never said he wasn't claimed. Just that the deadline was three days ago at 7PM.
  5. According to KTAR in Arizona. Dunn is D'Back
  6. It was rhetorical question. Like labs said a lot of players get placed on waivers after the trade deadline. I got a good chuckle reading this thread and seeing everyone get so worked up. Now that they claimed him they essentially hold his trade rights. The Reds couldn't trade him anywhere else. This happens literally every year.
  7. No one should be given 6 years of eligibility. Ever.
  8. Do you guys really not know how the Post Trade Deadline waivers work?
  9. I really don't "want" one or the other. I'll be happy either way. At first I wanted a boy, now a girl is growing on me. I will be really ecstatic either way, and honestly surprised either way!
  10. I will tell you who will not win anything, and that is RFreel, JKeppinger, NHopper, CPatterson.
  11. The end result is all that matters in baseball. Everyone has stretches where they struggle, when he does move him down in the order, fine with that. When hes hot he's noe of the best in the game. My point all along is that Adam Dunn is not the problem with the Reds, anyone who thinks they would be better without him is so horribly out of touch they need to just not watch baseball anymore.
  12. Also, its not as split as you think, I did a poll a week or so ago and the numbers overwhelmingly say people back Dunn. Problem is the vocal minority make sure you hear about it when he has a bad stretch. http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=156906
  13. Average is such a bad indicator of how well someone is doing. If he hits 45-50 HR, has over 100 RBI, Walks and Runs Scored. Isn't that a FANTASTIC season?
  14. Man I've been fighting this fight for years. Good Luck.
  15. Anyone is the best you could come up with? Who on the ML roster right now is a better option? No one has yet to answer this question. Sounds like you guys need to be bashing Jocketty instead of Dusty, Ibelieve hes the one responsible for callups and whatnot. If our best option is at Louisville then it's not Dusty's fault he's not here. I'm not sold on Dusty either but I'm a realistic fan who realizes there aren't many better options here, if any.
  16. Cute way of avoidiing the question. Still waiting.....
  17. So who plays Center? And do you really think if Freel or Hop were healthy Patterson would be there? I swear I've sat next to some of you at games before. Lol
  18. :laugh:We'll see soon enough...
  19. How does that happen? Isn't that grounds for major concern with a coach's ability?
  20. Sorry missed this one. July 6 and Spetember 23
  21. I'm trying but between working 3 jobs and getting the house ready it's been tough.
  22. Baby is due 3 weeks from yesterday.:eek::eek::eek::eek:
  23. Yes we are. I wal always amazed most of us waited so long, and now it seems we're making up for lost time. LOL
