Well did it live up to the hype? Was this the championship game in your opinion? I couldn't get it online and I was out of town tonight.

This will be a good ball game I believe. Personally, I dont think that Highlands has played a team this year with JC rushing attack. I also think that JC has the ability to pass on occasions for the big play. JC has a good enough rushing offense that Highlands will have to play more then they want in the box to stop the run which could open up a big play for JC through the air. However, I dont think that JC has the Defensive backs to pull of an upset against Ft. Thomas. I believe that they will throw the ball at will. However I dont thin that they can run the ball to open up thier pass they will have to pass first and run second. Regardless I believe assuming they both make it this far the winner of this game should be Ft. Thomas but who ever wins this game will be the state champions.

In my personal opnion assuming that they and Highlands both make it to that game it won't be as one sided as everyone assumes. Congrats Eagles and good luck Ashland

I wasnt saying that I want him drinking and diriving. What I am saying is that probably 50 percent of people in KY drink. If he wants to drink every night as long as he is doing his job then I dont care. Also... if he is going to get out and get drunk Im glad that he has the knowledge to get a driver. Personally it doesnt bother me if he has one and I dont understand why it bothers everyone else.

Who gives a crap if he drinks and has a driver or not... We "UK" didnt hire him to do anything other then coach basketball and get recruits. As far as I am concerned this is exactly what he is doing and his is doing a fine job at it.

The details are simple Magoffin can't get a break. They were up against Letcher and got beat in the bottom of the 7th by 1 run. They were up against Powell and the center fielder doesn't see a fly ball and again they get beat by 1 run. Betsy Laynes 9 hitter hits a Grand Slam Home Run in the 7th and then they beat Magoffin by 1 run. The ball is simply just not going there way right now.

Powell started with a freshman but brought in thier older kids. They only had 1 earned run against Magoffin and they shouldnt have had that if the center fielder would have caught a fly ball that he missed. It should have been an easy routine play but he lost it in the sky evidently because he didnt move until after the ball hit the ground 15 feet from him.
