  1. Henderson County 34 Bullitt East 20 The Courier-Journal says: HENDERSON COUNTY AT BULLITT EAST When: 8 p.m. Records: Henderson County 1-1, Bullitt East 1-2 Notes: This game was a late addition after Manual had to call off its game against Henderson County and Central its game with Bullitt East. Both teams are coming off tough losses. The Chargers fell 30-27 to county-rival Bullitt Central, and the Colonels fell 36-33 in overtime to Daviess County. Quotable: "We had a tough loss to Daviess, in a game that saw us lose a big lead in the second half," Henderson County coach Clay Clevenger said. 2. Valley at Fairdale has been rescheduled for Friday October 31st. Fairdale had an open date for Oct 31. I'm not sure what this does with Valley's schedule because they were supposed to play J'town on October 31.
  3. If you have to play 9 games to qualify for the playoffs then Valley may be in some trouble. They already had the game vs. PRP cancelled due to the unfortunate death of a player at PRP. Now the district game @ Fairdale has been cancelled.
  4. I'll tell you this... there was already a huge dent in the budget at Fairdale. Losing the gate to a home game against a big rival in Valley would be a really huge blow. Let's hope that the game can be re-scheduled. Fairdale has a bye week on October 31. Valley is playing a non-district game at J'Town on Halloween night. There has been some speculation that the Valley @ Fairdale district game could be made-up on that night.
  5. Henderson County, which was scheduled to play at Manual Friday, will instead play at Bullitt East, at 8 p.m. This comes directly from the Louisville Courier-Journal website.
  6. From the Courier-Journal All 13 of Friday’s football games involving Jefferson County public high schools this weekend have been called off because of continuing power problems associated with Sunday’s storm. Henderson County, which was scheduled to play at Manual Friday, will instead play at Bullitt East, at 8 p.m. Cincinnati St. Xavier’s game at Trinity has been moved to Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium at 7:30 p.m. Friday; Trinity’s stadium had no power as of Wednesday afternoon. At least two games involving local schools will go off as planned. Holy Cross, which resumes school Thursday, will play host to Caverna at 7:30 Friday. Beth Haven will play at Berea at 7:30. Public school athletic directors will probably try to work some of Friday’s game into their bye weeks, said Jerry Wyman, athletic director for Jefferson County Public Schools. Among the scheduled games that won’t be played Friday: Central at Bullitt East (Bullitt East will instead be host to Henderson County) Ballard at Butler Pleasure Ridge Park at Eastern Valley at Fairdale Moore at Fern Creek Anderson County at Jeffersontown Henderson County at Manual (Henderson County will play at Bullitt East) Waggener at North Bullitt Doss at Shelby County Male at St. Xavier Iroqouis at Southern Atherton at Western Johnson Central at Shawnee

  10. Scroggins told me at the King of the Bluegrass basketball tournament that he returned 8 guys on defense. He seemed really excited about his defense next year. I believe they only return 3 guys on offense.
