For all of you that are not attending tonights game due to weather relations, TONIGHTS games can be heard on Somerset's radio station 102.3 FM. Tune in for full coverage of both Southwestern's games. Bob Boone and Duane Clark has the call.

Do away with the all "A"! lets say for instance that Clinton Co. wins the all "A" and then they win the sweet 16, I don't think its fair for the other schools to only get one chance at a state tournament title rather than the all A schools getting a chance to win two state titles.

Ok as of 11:00 AM these games WILL BE PLAYED TONIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure you all will be glad to hear this i'm sure. I'm sorry if this has ruined your day because you have nothing to nag Rice about. I mean he has no control over if it gets cancelled or not.

I think this is getting blown way out of proportion! The game was cancelled theres nothing no one can do about it. Everyone is safe no one is hurt. So i think if you want to watch these games go TOMORROW watch these games and be happy. Who cares as to why the games were cancelled?

You probably could! I'm not going to dispute that. But this isn't the same Cardinal team that was playing a year ago. I don't know if they have peaked or what but seems to me that they aren't playing the Wayne Co. basketball that i'm used to.

Yes it was a mix of rain and snow where i was at nothing heavy but u could tell that it was a mix. But about 5:30 PM the mix had turned over to all snow so i'm gonna say that it was for the right reasons. I'd like to think so anyway.

I don't know if its the loss of last years seniors or what. But to me this is not the same Cardinal team that was playing a year ago. With that HUGE loss at Somerset i just don't see them winning it. I don't know if you were at the 2nd game between wayne and sw or not, but it looked like to me that they had a hard time of making lay-ups and the just couldn't finish at the basket.

I talked to the A.D. at Southwestern today about 1:30 PM. He advised me that he and the A.D. from McCreary Central had talked and decieded to cancel because of inclement weather. Now weather or not that be the case who knows.

Sounds like a pretty good idea. But it makes for a better game if its in the finals of both the district and region!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banana:

I'm sorry if that sounded like I hated Wayne Co. But I just don't think they have what it takes to win it again this year. Don't get me wrong I think that Wayne Co. and Coach Tim Pyles Has a fine group of young ladies they are probably have the most sportsmanship among the teams in the 12th.

Even if Casey draws Lincoln in the first round and which ever team wins has to play Wayne, I think that no matter if Casey beats Lincoln or vice-versa then wayne is eliminated in the second round hands down.

Well obiviously it will have to be in the region if Lincoln County and Casey play again. Yes Wayne is the defending champs but they won't make it to the finals you can bank on that. But only time will tell...

I never said that noone is going to just lay down and say here ya go just take it. I'm just saying that until everyone and I'm including myself is proven wrong Casey Co. is the champ. And I'll also agree with you that Casey DOES have a bullseye on their back, it wouldn't make any sense to say that they didn't. Its like I said they are undefeated against other 12th region teams.

No I didn't say that. I think Casey's record speaks for itself. You have to give credit where credit is due. I'm just saying that casey is UNDEFEATED against other 12th region teams. Oh believe me theres nothing more that i'd love to see than the lady Warriors represent the 12th at Diddle. But the Lady Rebels did beat Southwestern in the first game of the season. So I think until someone knocks them off that they are your 12th region champs!!!!!!!
