haha, I think Clay fans would take him back in a minute, but he looks pretty happy at South.

Woo it would be a shocker to me if South did not make it to the Region, but I would say they pull it out. How is Watkins doing for South? He seems to be playing really well latley, hes a Clay Co born kid who lived in Clay till a couple years ago..It would have been nice if the Tigers still had him.

The refs were ok'd by Norths Coach before the game. Also if you were at the game you would have saw that they didnt call for Clay Co, it was a pretty good called game with North getting a few freebies.

I would say that Roberts is about 6'2. He had not had any playing time for varsity and then all of a sudden he came out and scored 22 points against Mboro and then tonight he had a huge night with 17. But Clay has some great young players. The only thing that worries me about next year is the ball handling, we have several good ball handlers but I dont know if they will do as well as Smith and Hobbs. It would have been nice if Zach Lewis was going to play.

Les I was just reading your article with Cannady, I thought your article did a much better job on the story than the London paper. It seemed that the London paper left a lot of information out. Just wanted to say good job on printing the whole story!

The Tigers really played great ball tonight, they really came out wanting to prove that they were the better team. The game really never was close, Clay lead by 15 or 16 most of the game, North was able to get it down to 10 at one point but no closer. Great Game for Hobbs, Wilson, and freshmen Cody Roberts who had 17.

Wombles had a great game, and so did Gray. Jackson struggled alittle bit but I heard she was suffering from the flu. But it was a great game too watch although Clay didnt have that great of a game.

Ive saw Montgomery Co play one time this year and they totally killed Clay Co, they were hitting every shot they threw up and their defense wasnt allowing Clay any points either. So when this team is hot they are extremely hot. Very nice win for the Lady Indians.

Just saw on the KHSAA website that Montgomery Co won this game 75-51. Montgomery co is a team that can be extremely dangerous!

The Lady Tigers was able to come out with the win, the Lady Tigers really struggled tonight. Every time you thought the Lady Tigers was going to put the game away, Wombles for South would come back and bring the Lady Cardinals back in it. Nice win for the lady Tigers, I just hope they play better on friday. Lauren Wombles lead South on her senior night with 25, Gemma Gray lead Clay Co with 22.

Yes they were only up at the end of the 3rd by 8 but at half time they were up by close to 20.. The 3rd quarter was the only quarter that Central showed any life.

That's a very impressive win by South also.

I agree Clay Co looked Great last night against Corbin and looked even better today against Pike Central.

But also I do have to agree its hard for any team to look impressive when they are shooting 15 to 20%, but I think they had such a poor shooting night because clay was playing such great defense.

From the way they played today they did look very overrated. If it would not have been for foul shots they would have not scored 20 points.

Great game for the Lady Tigers, The lady Tigers held Central to 8 Field goals in the game and really just played all around great basketball. :dancingpa

I disagree also, I think this team is stronger. This team doesnt really have 1 player that does it all they have a combination of players. But I say Corbin thought this team was very strong, if Clay would have keep their starters in the entire game it could have been extremely ugly for Corbin.

I still look for Corbin or Knox Central to head to Rupp arena but Cumberland, Pineville,Clay, South, or Jackson County could end up at Rupp also.

Yeah I think Crawford is still improving everyday, but still isnt back to normal. Every game in this tournment should be great, it will be well worth the price of admission.
