  1. Under the radar and out of the headlines, seem to be the place to be.
  2. Stand corrected, story of my life. Thanks! 52 of the 64 Districts seed and half of the four in NKY do not.
  3. Of the 42 Districts throughout the state only 6 DO NOT seed, the 7th, 8th (Boys Only, girls IS seeded) 34th, (Dixie, Lloyd, Ludlow, Villa) 36th (Bellevue, Dayton Highlands, Newport, New Cath), 38th and 39th. All of the remaining 36 Districts are seeded. Seems to me these 6 Distrcits and especially the 2 from NKY need to get in the game?
  4. The guy at Dixie Heights, has announcing game, in my humble opinion. I don't know his name if anyone out there can help?
  5. They sure should M Crunch, with 4 juniors 2 of whom moonlighting as JV all stars, I wish I clould have placed a pre-tourney wager on this action. That said, their kids play great defense and that'll win many tournaments irregardless of class in most any sport. Haven't seen their frosh in action this season, but their Varsity team has as good a chance as any to take the 9th. This years Regional should be a gem.
  6. Give em heck Ladies B-Ball coach. I'm not a zebra, but it is my understanding that they are schooled in referee camp to have different focus's (duh) in girls/boys games. Simpy put in a boys game the focus is more on the defense becasue that is where the majority of the fouls occur. In the Girls game the focus is on the ball, hence the over abundence of the feet shuffling traveling calls (my pet peeve) during a girls first move. I'm biased I admit, but the boys get away with that shuffle and the girls do not! Saw it first hand in the Duke-UNC ladies game last night, a young ladies pivot foot never left the sacred hardwood of Cameron before the ball left her hand, yet her move faked out the ref and the whistle blew. I'm with you coach!!!!! Bottom line there are good ones and bad ones lust like in any other line of work....................
  7. Thanks Double Deuce! Always loved to see a pair of Ducks on the pond. It's a winner everytime!!!!
  8. I would love to know the answer to this one? Is the 35th a blind draw as well, Beechwood, Latin, Holmes, Holy Cross, Notre Dame. Is the vote to seed, not to seed, have to be unanimous within the district?
  9. Congratulations to tourney host Dixie. These tournaments entail many volunteers and workers and the folks at Dixie were great hosts. Their PA announcer is also top notch, and the ice cold Diet Mountain Dews were delicious! Oh yeah almost forgot, congratulations to the Birds too, really.................
  10. When, where, who and how do they draw for district seeds? I read somewhere that the 34th is a blind draw, is this true for the girls as well as the boys?

  12. Second that Congrats to #21 and her family! It's been great to see her come back and I wish her all the luck in the world.
  13. Boone over Ludlow and Holmes over NDA in a close one in the afternoon matinee.
  14. Great night for NDA. They took the freshman, jv and varisty games.
  15. Then its tomorrow, Sunday its Boone vs. Campbell at 1:00 and Notre Dame vs. Highlands at 2:30 at Dixie, should be some good games. Finals next weekend..............
  16. TMC has a great shed, if the Saints will let them in. The one sided Tiger den was to small when it was built. The best feature of BW's gym is the left field monster for the baseball field.
  17. 35th is at the Tiger Den in Ft. Mitchell Ky, and at the Big House in Covington next year. Go Tigers, especially #21!
