  1. Jeff McNeil coaches the Walton 6th grade, he is also a varsity assistant for Walton Verona HS. His son plays with the U12 Wolfpack.
  2. My apologies All In. In my opinion, the game of the tournament will be at 7PM on Friday night when the U13 Wolfpack play the Georgetown Thunder. Unless some crazy things happen, that should be the championship game on Sunday at 6:30PM.
  3. The U12 division looks like this: LCA Eagles Lexington Blaze 6th NKY Wolfpack 6th Scott Co. Wolfpack 6th Big Sky Lincoln Co. Richmond Rockets Clark Co. 6th Frankfort Stallions 6th Harrison Co. 6th Northern KY Wolfpack 5th
  4. I may be wrong, but I don't think there is a U10 division because of AAU state is the same weekend.
  5. Maybe they weren't, but I thought they were on the email distribution list.
  6. Clark Co. 7th Lexington Blaze 7th Northern KY Flash Pendleton Co. 7th Fleming Co. 7th Harrison Co. 7th Northern KY Firehawks South Oldham 7th Georgetown Thunder Lincoln Co. 7th Louisville Storm Northern KY Wolfpack 7th
  7. Looking at the schedule for the Georgetown tournament this weekend and the U13 NKY Warriors (Rockets, Pirates etc) are not playing in the tourney. What gives qryche???
  8. The last time we saw the Lakers they had 2 kids over 5'10". The big 6' tall kid played with them last year but because of "issues" between the coach and parents hasn't played consistently with them this year. I wonder if it's the same kids and you guys hadn't seen them before. I will say this the Lakers carry a huge roster of kids.
  9. Lexington Blaze are quick and athletic. Typical Blaze team they will press and run you up and down the floor if you let them. The Heat has a pretty decent shooter and a big post player who is somewhat athletic. My predictions - D1 NKY Rockets win in a landslide and D2 I'll give to either the Wolfpack or the McGovney led Allstars!
  10. They were missing a couple of players. Sanders and Quick were missing. In my mind though, beating the Ville is beating the Ville. Their bench is not much of a step off of their starters. Don't get me wrong, they are a good team and probably will defend their D1 title at state, but a win is a win. The Tarheels were missing Snyder on Sunday. On Saturday the Tarheels beat the Wolfpack by 14, however Snyder had only 6 or 8 points. Hatton went off as usual, but got into foul trouble early. It was a 4 point game on Saturday with 3 minutes left and the Wolfpack just made stupid mistakes. Sunday was different with the Tarheels making the mistakes and the Wolfpack capitalizing when it was necessary.
  11. Great Day for the Wolfpack - 7th and 6th grades beating the Ville and the Tarheels respectively. 7th grade beat the Ville in the semis and the 6th grade beat the Tarheels in the championship game. 7th grade hit tough shots down the stretch when it mattered. The 6th grade exploded in the 2nd quarter taking a double digit lead to half. Surprisingly, the guard play for the wolfpack outplayed the guards for the Tarheels.
  12. And the 5th grade Wolfpack beat them by 3 or 4 a couple of weeks ago.
  13. Thanks for the info. Any word on the 6th or 7th grade results at Hoops???
  14. Anyone know the results from the BCI middle school tourney or the Hoops tourney this weekend???
  15. The coach from the NKY Flash would probably be interested. They are a tough, defensively aggressive team. PM me and I can give you his info.
  16. Considering the weather and the KY Governor’s Cup, the 2008 NKMSBL Tournament has been cancelled for the remainder of the week. First round action will begin on Monday 2/18/08. The Girls League Championship Final will be Thursday at CCMS and the Boys Friday at CCMS. Please see the attachments for dates, locations, and times. Thank you everyone for your patience. Enjoy the rest of your week and have a wonderful weekend.
  17. Are the games still being played today?????
  18. The U12 Wolfpack only lost 2 games in the tournament. The losses were in the 1st game of pool play to the Legends by 8 or 9 and in the championship game of the tournament to the Legends by around 10. I think all the Wolfpack teams will be tough to beat at state. Good luck Pack!
  19. I knew Glaser and Smith played just wasn't sure of the rest of the team. I wonder if Glaser, Smith and/or Lorenzen played AAU and who with???
  20. I hear Atlanta could use a QB.... Did he play hoops in high school???
  21. Was he 2nd or 3rd string with the Giants?? I kept wishing Eli would go down during the playoffs. That kids gets an opportunity in 2 or so games and I think the chatter would start for him.
  22. Nice avatar! The Hefty Lefty....The Round Mound of Touchdown...
  23. Good points and true statements. The only problem - There are no other competitive tournaments locally on a consistent basis. The solution is to constantly travel and parents get tired of that real quick.
  24. LICENSED isn't the correct word, it's certified. There is no referee license, It's a certification process. However, Dave has just as many high school certified refs as some of the other places. The problem with BCI and other places, is what's the consequence for doing a bad job???
